DizmmV.2 has been out and about a few times over the winter now. your right i dont drive it every day, but come summer I will drive it MUCH more often.

ha, i wish i had a heater, but it just isn't practical to buy one right now.

I just wish I had a winter beater, it would make things so much easier. Right now i'm trying to figure out when to wash the car and finally put it down for the rest of the winter, i'm thinking in a week to 2 weeks. I want to pull the radiator and do some other things before i go back to school.

Yup, painted it silver. I just couldn't paint it pink, i just couldn't do it.

The bar was alot harder to put in that i expected, 1-2mm would have helped, but with the help of a hammer, i got it in. Looks great, is positioned great, all around happy!

You will have to define break. Last year at BHF Dizmm V1 had some issues. But he brought a parts car to the track and actually restored driveability while at the track and was even able to enjoy another session.

Just popping off I would say no. That could happen to any car if the clamp wasn't tightened enough. Now if a coupler tore open that is a different story.

By my definition it would be considered broke.

But nothing needed replacing, so nothing really technically broke. I think if something "breaks", it no longer functions as it normally would and could not be fixed without completely replacing said unit. An IC pipe can be reinserted into the coupler and simply tightened and good as new. Say if you BREAK a shift fork, that can't simply be put back into place, hence the car being broke and out of comission.

Break means you have to fix something. An intercooler pipe connector that has fallen off needs to be fixed.

i'd consider a ic coupler off = broke, but very minor, assuming you get it back running quickly and finish the day. maybe not even "broke" but a minor setback. yeah, that's it. i'd call it a minor setback.

I would consider a blown off IC pipe either:
A. Cheap parts
B. Installation performed incorrectly

Through out my DSM ownership I have experienced an IC pipe blow off once. That was after I put the B16G on the 2g, I had to shorten the j-pipe I had so it no longer had a bead on it. That along with a worn out coupler and worm screw clamp allowed it to blow off. That was a temporary setup that was on the car half the day. I didn't even have a bead on one of my pipes last year and it never blew off running at least 22psi all year. With good couplers and T-bolt clamps there should be no reason for a IC pipe to blow off.
