Need cheap winter beater bad!

My beater Jeep blow out the transfer case and need something cheap. I.E under $750 just need it to get me through the winter.

might have a lead on a early 90's 4door jeep, $700. runs good, but is in rough shape body-wise. if i don't buy it to beat on... i'll let you know.

I also have a 4 wheeler that I would trade plus cash. Its a yamaha blaster with a over bored engine not in prefect shape but runs good. I would be looking for around $600 for it.

$1200 or so I dont have a house or anywhere to do it here in sun prairie and all my main tools are still in mosinee at my dads hosue.

the jeep i know of is 4wd. and that works great. maybe they are all the same parts. it's a early nineties jeep cherokee 4door

Put the jeep in 4wd and drive it to Mosinee for repairs.

it drives in 2wd but cant go faster then 2-3mph and 4wd does run at all there is NO transfer case left... the whole bottom pan blow apart

Runs good. I think she's looking for $500.

the problem is that i drive alot and jeeps dont get 30 mpg avg.

i know. that's why i'm debating driving it all winter, or cleaning it up and makeing a few hundred for kicks. it's a tough call. mpg sucks on it.
