It will come out on the streets. With the new tires on it, it should hook on the street pretty well. There will be nothing to race on the streets though.

That looks like a hell of a machine.
In the world of DSMs.... how many are low 9 second cars? This one ran a 9.0 so its nearly an 8 second car. I would think that would be in the top 10 fastest DSMs in the country.
Maybe this will inspire Mattsubishi to reconstruct his drag car.

I will make the roller of ghost a bad ass street car for the sommer months. I will treat it well we will go fast together with some spray. It will still be a stright line only car with no heat and no whippers.

well... as much as i think both Extreme's new toy and Dizmm's possible toy will be faster than Mattsubishis'.... he DOES currently hold the fastest timeslip in town for driving a DSM down the Qtr Mile. there is no arguing that fact. so until someone runs a faster time... he still has bragging rights. :roll:

his car did not run the complete summer. a timeslip does not make someone's car faster. sure he has bragging right because he has a slip from a dragstip saying how fast his car is but without a dought extreme's car is faster, no timeslip needed to prove that.

Timeslips mean absolutely nothing. If I made a pull today it would run about a half second faster than if I ran one in 90* humid weather. What matters is when you line up side by side and race to the finish.
These days running 10s isn't that hard. Running 10s reliably is more of a challenge. Though it may be impressive to see a 10 second import ... it is equally unimpressive to hear the car is out of commission. This is amplified when the vehicle then sits in various states of disarray with little or no progress being made on repair.

In fact I'm not sure his car even broke. I believe he decided to make it even faster with better cams, a bigger turbo, and various VPT customized parts. But as with most drag racers he lost his drive because the satisfaction wasn't worth the trouble. Maybe all he needed was some competition or someone calling him out.
It was good to see him at the autox. Maybe that is where he has been focusing his efforts.

A car that does not run is broke, weather its town down for upgrades or not, a non running car is basically the same as BROKE. Anyone can take shit apart, its putting it back together, and MAKING it run GOOD, thats the hard part.

He's trying to say Darth was on par with Dizmm and Micaiah on the sauce. Darth was definately faster than Darse.
I'm pretty sure Dizmm on the bottle would have beat Darth with alchy especially since Dizmm could spray alot more than he was spraying.
Extreme should take the new ride to GLD on the 24th. Then I could make the thread we were talking about at MM! Or he could just line up against the next fastest car someplace local... like his road.
If not .... with Dizmm V1 and Darth being gone Micaiah may take the fastest import in town title.

Well, so far I have taken out 14 pounds out of the new talon. I also got a Jay Racing alternator relocation kit to take place of the Buschur racing one. The Buschur racing one is the most poorly engineered pile of shit I have ever seen. Alternator is cockeyed and the belt keeps flying off.
Hopefully more to come...........
