This is why I will never build another car other than a lex or toyota, that is unless I win the lotto. You get the best of both worlds: strong, fast, reliable, and luxurious.

reliable

the car may "look" reliable, but I HIGHLY dought that this car is daily driver material.

That's four worlds, and none of those come without a hefty price tag I bet. I think you have to damn near win the lotto to build a strong, fast, reliable and luxurious car.

but now you add in luxory... oh boy. that just messes up the whole thing!

Agreed. You have to factor in all the added weight from the luxory category into the fast category, then still maintain reliablilty and blah blah blah we all know how the rest goes. What does an IS300 weight in at?

the IS300 is a great car like it is. If i had one, i would do a nice set of 19's or something, tint, and that’s about it. I'd also add one of those hoola-girl air fresheners.

hopefully the 19's will be on in spring. the tint is done, and the audio/video 5.1 is getting installed over winter. it's all in my basement just waiting

It's most likely a 2jz but weather it's the stock 2jz-ge or a swapped gte. I'm going with GTE because there isn't a gigantic intake manifold covering the valve cover.

I own a 92 sc300 and it is more luxurious, comfortable, and durable than anything out there for that year. Unless it's another lex or higher end vehichle. They don't come with heafty price tags either and thier motors can put down 900hp proven without touching the internals of the block.
