I was cruising through downtown the other night and something just didn't look right near Guu's. I saw some blinking lights and then I got this freaky nostalgic feeling like I had gone back to when I was a kid.

As I got closer I saw this big blinking sign that was changing colors. It was the sign for the Fox theater working like it did back in the day. I haven't seen that sign lighted up since I was a kid... and that's a long time ago. That sign is really cool and I'm glad to see they are fixing up that old theater.

not sure what they are doing with it though... but YES, i saw it was all prettied up! hopefully they are doing more than just the outside.

I wish I could buy that place it would be perfecting for spooking!

You guys should also know that the city of Stevens Point will not allow a strip joint in this town, nor will it allow another porn store like Eldorado's.
In fact, some of the older people are trying to get that place shut down.

God this town is lame!

They are pissed about the mall. Interesting. I remember years ago when they were really pushing for a downtown mall. A downtown mall will save downtown. Um yeah it worked great.

yeah, not sure what good half a stage will do? i think it would make a kick ass two-floor dance club... assuming there was a population to support it. maybe in a bigger city. and maybe if i liked dancing.

I think they should tear it down and make it a parking lot where kids can hang out and yell rude things to all the sluts that are going downtown to get drunk and spread STDs.
