Okay now that was a great dyno day!

I made three passes.

1. pump gas tune 23psi spike leveling at 20psi.

317WHP 314WTQ

2. race gas tune 25psi spike leveling at 22psi

347WHP 344WTQ

3. race gas tune #2 tweeked 25psi spike leveling at 22psi

349WHP 353WTQ

^ Yes the SRT4 has some serious power.

I was quite please with the results considering my mods. My car is tapped out on power. I could run more boost down low but the turbo is out of breath up top. Even on my race gas pull you can see my turbo is maxed out at 5500 rpm. My boost dropped to 20psi at 7000. To make the car any faster from 5500-7500 I would a bigger turbo or a bottle. Either way not bad for an exhaust, tune, and race gas.

Yes i would say it was a very good day! "NO BREAK DOWNS" besides the brake line on the truck on the way home.lol..

i got 319 AWHP WITH 355'ISH Torque on 110 octane!! that was with luke doing everything he could. we tried adjusting the cam gears and everything but they worked best at 0%...

everything went according to plan. besides one camaro that was supposed to come..

very fun day. I am sure we will arrange another dyno day. I had my bottle topped off, bought 5 gallons of C16 and 4 pulls for under $150 even after tax. The staff there was very friendly!

PS, the truck is fixed now, just had a cracked brake line, 20 minutes later we headed down to plainfield to pickup another exploded DSM.

I had the lowest numbers so noone has anything to worry about racing me at RSD!

My first pull was 178hp no nitrous 13.1 A/F across the board except for the Vtec X-over.

My second pull was 240hp on nitrous with still 13.1 A/F and 37 degrees of timming.

My 3rd and last pull was 248.5hp and 188.2 ft-lbs torque on nitrous with the timming backed down to 32 degrees still 13.1 A/F.

With my car only having a full exhaust, better DV, and an air-filter. I put down a 171whp and 169wtq .:oops: :oops: I didnt think that it was really all that bad considering stock hp is right around 150-155. :roll: :roll:
And i found out why my car was running so lean with the stock setup. When my car does not have a cat, it throws a code and therefore makes the car not run like its really supposed to and run lean. I was running in the 11's. But with my car once the computer realizes that its running way to lean it was automatically go into limp mode, which is only 3-5psi.

Does anyone know how Mack Aye Ahhh did with the EVO 8?

Miciaih made 318HP/324TQ at 26PSI with a nitrous tune (tame).

Here is a comparision of my race gas run compared to Miciaih's best non-nitrous run. My lines are blue-ish his are red-ish. The yellow area is where his cams out performed mivec but you can also see his car held boost stronger up top.

That being said, I wouldn't mind doing another dyno day to get a little tuning in. All three of the pulls I made were on open track lapping day maps. I would like to build a drag race tune on the dyno just to see what the car is capable of. My EVO8 was capable of 376WHP and that was with the stock turbo. I'm sure there is more in this car. I could spike the boost to 28psi and add a few more degrees of timing.

Another thing, I would like to hit a drag strip up. I'd like to see how our horsepower numbers relate to trap speeds.

it would be interesting to see all the people with close HP numbers run each other, and see exactly how that related to not only times, but speed as well. since the majority are AWD, it'd be pretty fair.

Just helped my friend jesse load his 2g on his trailer. He's really good friends with Tim Zimmer(10 sec. 2g down here). He made 438hp at Beyond Redline about 2 weeks ago, on a e3 16g and sidemount.

Weekends are very busy at GLD, and I can never make a weekend there, i work this weekend, and 27 hours next weekend. The following 2 weekends i'm coming back to point. KrazyK is right, weeknights are the best, i got 14 runs in the night i went, and could have easily gotten 25 if I didn't want to watch other people and let my car relax. I tryed every launching technique, kept messing with the tune, tryed soaking my IC in water. I pitted with a couple really nice corvette guys(c6 vettes, something you don't see at WIR).
