I made it from Point to Franklin (about 15mins SOUTH of milw) in 2:25. i had the cruise set at a leisurely 80mph, but around the waushara county area, a Chevy HHR (yes, the ptcruiser looking thing) flew by me like i was standing still. i had to see how fast he was going, so i cranked it up and followed, i had the cruise set at 105mph for a few mins. just as i'm about to back off cuz this is nutz... we come up on a blue VW R32, and SHE hops in behind me at 100mph+. we stayed like that all way to madison where she turned off, i lost the guy a few miles south of madtown.

those two were NUTZ!! there were times they were doing 120mph+, weaving in/out of traffic like madmen. that HHR did NOT look stable at those speeds, so i hung back a little bit, but kept up just fine following in their wake!

we took the big turn at portage around 90+! the R32 and myself had no problem with that, but the HHR guy almost crapped himself i think. the chic in the R32 passed on the shoulder at least 6 or more times, finally the HHR started doing it as well. anyways, to make a long story short... i hope no one important reads this, becuase it was freaking nutz and i'm sure there are a LOT of pissed of people right now after all that chaos.

ok, that's my story and i'm sticking to it! it was fun, but scary at the same time. there was some big traffic through madison, and we barely slowed down for it.

ok, going to the bobblehead Brewers game now... have a good weekend to all!

I had a trip like that back from Wausau once with a 3G Eclipse that I tagged behind with my 1G.... Probably 110+ most of the way back. Wouldn't even dream of it now though, I make that trip 10 times a week and I probably see 15-20 cops on those 10 trips. State troopers have been out like crazy in all that construction.

I made it from my apartment in Schaumburg, IL to my parents house in 2:40 before. As soon as I got on the highway there was a BMW 5 seires that was doing minimum of 120, followed him all the way to Madison, he got off on 12/18. After driving that far at those speeds even 80 felt like a crawl. So I maintained about 100 the rest of the way home. This was in my 99 GST.

Yeah it was an awesome game. Lots of top ten teams lost too, 5 to be exact. I bet the Badgers will move up pretty high.

even though the brewers lost, it was an excellent game and even better experiance! i haven't been to the field since it was County Stadium... and WOW, what a difference. we started out with dinner in the elite .300 Club, up stairs, with limited access only. it was sweet. huge buffet of lobster, shrimp, tenderloin, lamb, tips, etc... awesome meal! best of all, GLHotties boss paid for it!! watched the first few innings from up there. then mosied to our seats, 3rd row, on the first base line. great spot. found an extra bobble-head too after the game. all in all... great time!

The badgers do look horrible, They will hit reality hard very soon. The packers on the other hand have changed my outlook on them. While there truthfully have no running game, Brett is fucking amazing this year, and special teams is somehow winning games. Who would guessed the packers super uber secret play would be the dreaded PUNT!!

BTW, anybody watch the one game playoff between the Rockies and the Padres, now that is intense!

That was indeed an intense game. One has to wonder if Holliday actually touched the plate as he slid in. From what I saw, looks like he was blocked. But, what can you do? There's no instant replay in Baseball. Perhaps there should be.

Pointdsm

I also wonder if he touched the plate, but there still should not be replay in baseball. Baseball IMHO, is more sacred than football is in america, and keeping it how it should be is more important.

Sports are gay, players are WAY over payed to do something that half of them suck balls at! I don't support any over payed people no mater what they do.

I woul dlike to see vpt do some of the things these guys do. I do agree some are overpaid when they dont do shit..but then u get a guy like brett or Driver and I would DARE you to be able to do the shit they do. I have been at training camp..been to games...ive seen practices close up and driver is amazing....and to take a hit like those guys do...and get back up is awesome. I doubt you would last 5 minutes in a nfl game..neither would i!
Anyway Brett has looked awesome. Hopefully it will shut his critics (who said he was to old and over the hill) up. Plus we got some great young talent playing to. Ill give my report on next weeks game after i get back from it!

Guy this is America. If people will pay ridiculous amounts of money to watch guys chase a ball around then the players won't have any problem being paids millions to do it.

It's called capitalism.

My question is, with the packers knowing brett WILL retire eventually, why do they not go get a good back-up quarterback? Rodgers is absolutly horrible!

america spends millions on stupid thing... like dumping thousands of gallons of gasoline in cars to drive for hours on end without actual going anywhere... it's called Nascar.

true on the nascar tip. rodgers is good I think. But he has not had alot of experiance. I Have seen him do some great things and some stupid things..but then again i have seen favre do the same. I have confidence on Rodgers...Plus he is a hell of a nice guy to!

Rodgers has been around for what? four years now? After spending all that time under the tutelage of Brett Favre, you would think he would be better than he is now. I will agree that he has squeaked out a few good plays, but over all, he just doesn't cut it. I don't blame Favre for not retiring. I don't know if I could leave "my" team in the hands of someone so lacking in capability. There are plenty of young college quarterbacks entering the draft each year. I say we pick one up next year, give him a year under Favre to learn the basics and then throw him in occasionally to give him experience. Rodgers has had his chance. Should've cut him and kept Nall a few years ago.

Blah blah blah, its just a game why are they getting payed millions to play? becauase you and i (in general terms) are paying fans that are willing to spend money to sell out lambeau field every game and have season tickets for $10,000. that is why they are paid the big bucks becuase the fans will pay for it in the long run.

gay i tell you. i dont get the concept behind paying to watch someone else have fun. I'd rather be out there playing a game of tackle football.

First off rodgers is good i tell ya. He just has not had any chances to play really. I have faith in the guy
Second..VPT...you like nascar right? WTf is with them getting paid millions of dollars to drive in circles over and over again...same thing.

Rodgers has had at least four pre-seasons to prove he can do something. He can barely win against the second and third string. And, when he has gotten the opportunity to play in regular games, he almost always chokes. How can anyone feel confident with someone like that? And it doesn't matter if he's a nice guy or how well he plays in practice. The proof is in the pudding and he can't cut it.

Umm, I've been a huge fan of football since I was a little girl. I probably know more about the sport than you do, plus my husband used to play in high school, so I've also learned a lot from him. Say what you want about Rodgers...I still think he sucks and that we should get rid of him. Barubabe out.

See but that's the thing. I played sports from 5th grade till I was senior in high school. I know what it's like to dedicate mass amounts of time and put your heart in to to win. There were games that I was drained physically and emotionally afterwards. It's different than just playing with "the guys". That's why I like watching sports. There's more to it than just some dudes playing a kids game out there. It's the passion ect.

I'm not trying to get into a war here. I'm just saying why I like to watch sports, not why anyone else should like watching sports. Whatever floats your boat!

i love going out to a basketball court someplace and just playing a pickup game. I dont really care for organized stuff, I like it when its spur of the moment, play what you brought.

speaking of pickup games, anyone up for a basketball game sometime at some outdoor basketball court?

I like nascar but I don't pay hundreds for tickets for every race all year long. Last time I was at a nascar race was like 3 years ago. They get paid way to much to drive a car too.

face value a ticket for nascar or indycar is more expensive then a NFl game.
