Anyone know how to eliminate the top speed limiter on a 240SX?

i read some place on the net that if you unplug the 4th and 5th gear sensors or look at this seems kinda cheesy but what ever works http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=133834

I never had to deal with it, but I always thought it had to do with soldering and shit in the ECU... But I suppose if the vehicle doesn't sense speed, there's no governor.
