What to do next?

So this quests for a daily driven FWD 12 second DSM is really pissing me off. Now I have a couple options.

1) keep trying to build a fast daily driven FWD.

2) buy a different daily driver and build my FWD into a non-daily driven but streetable race car.

3) Build my current winter car(Automatic AWD DSM) next season into a non-daily driven but streetable race car.

4) Wait for a deal on a 5speed AWD DSM and build that into a non-daily driven but streetable race car.

5) sell all my shit and buy half of a EVO. :roll:

If i were to go that route...(which is the route I've been on) i don't see much reason to start all over with a different car. My real problem is, I'm not smart enough to buy a slow DD. I just cant do it.

im sure you can agree that in all reality a fwd car just will never be as fun as an awd or rwd chassis. On that note id say turn the awd dsm into a monster and make your fwd a reliable daily

i aint hating on dsm's at all..
it doesnt seem like it takes much to get into the 13s.. but once u get past that it takes too much time and money to get past 12s..

but yeah i agree totaly... id get somthing thats worth of 10-11 second slips with less time and effort.. I dont like camaro's but some of them can be a force to recon with with very little money stuck into the motors..
same with 88s car.. im sure he has a fractionof the cost of alot of the guys with imports to go that fast :)

11's, no. dead hook with slicks, yes. 1.8 60's fell awesome. I love my RWD Camaro and whole car shake from the V-8 under the hood. And the exhaust sound cant be beat IMO. What takes the smile off my face is 14MPG highway and driving a bigger heavy car that was made in the late 70's.

The reason i dont go to RSD's anymore is because the last one I brought MY EVO to, i sat in line for 4 hours, WITHOUT MAKING 1 RUN!!! I watched Fireball and all you other STREET DOMINATORS run atleast 5 times while i did not even run once. Quit complaining about him running to powerer adders, the fact is that you could use them to, but you dont. Im glad you didnt spend your money on power adders, you were able to get your haircut for MULLET to something more modern, and that I thank you for.

I never said he was the one bragging about it. I gave him and the car lots of credit. I said I underestimated those cars, and I also said it won't happen again. Just because I'm racing NA doesnt mean the car doesnt have spray.

As far as being calm, its all good. This shit doesnt get me riled up or upset, I can certainly take as much as I dish out. I dont take it personal, I hope you don't either.

As far as the level field and being scared, I'm pretty sure thats not the case, which is why I wanted the last race, which I didnt get.

Like I always said, he beat me, and a loss is a loss. He was a good guy, I underestimated his car, I just wish he would take up my offer that I gave a couple of months ago to meet me with it at the track.

As for the turbo thing on the Camaro, yup, very pricey. As for streetable, dont underestimate that at all. Carb's dont mean race only. I have gotten over 20mpg with my car on the highway many times. Its all in fine tuning.

I'll race ya badass for two hamburgers. but only on the street, I know you have more power than me, but my big advantage is I can acctually get all my power to the ground, and on the street you will have a hard time doing that.
