RSD last night. 1st run = 13.5@ 107.6 MPH. second run = 13.68@ 97.5 MPH.
10mph = 1/10th of a second?
exacts slips..
#1
reaction = .270
60' = 2.185
1/8= 8.938
1/8 mph= 85.180
e/t= 13.561
mph= 107.676
slip #2 in which i left off after oil filter came loose, probably 20/ 30 feet from finish.
reaction = .158
60' = 2.149
1.8 = 8.946
1/8 mph= 85.194
e/t = 13.681
MPH = 97.481

you got the speed for a 12 second car, you just need some dam traction!

Letting off any little bit will kill your speed, but not your time.

still makes me think the extra 10mph on the top end is useless.
Letting off will kill your speed and not so much your time.
You should be running those times without spray with a turbo car.

Thats not enough speed for a 12 if it is sprayed. NA yes but not with spray though.

Darth with only a TBE and TUNE ran a 12.8@108.
Definately a 12 second time slip. Thanks to an unavoidable waterbox the above time was pulled spinning through 1st gear with a 1.8 60 foot time.
Don't stop me what mods pulled that timeslip?

My best 1/4 was a 13.1@ 104.9 with all the mods I have now minus the some HKS 264 cams and minus the spray. Since adding the spray I increased my traps to 108 but never did better than a 13.5. Yesterday was the first time at the track with the cams and my first only 2 runs are listed above. Also, when i pulled the 13.1, my 60 foot was a 1.8.....I have never pulled anything better than a 2.0 since that first day after many attempts.

What boost what shot?

Letting off will kill MPH, but so will the terrible air we found later on. Tell me, on the timeslips, what were the times of the runs? Not ET, but what time was it when you ran?

evil = 45 shot with boost at 17psi but spiking. Was running closer to 19 when i was off the juice.

5:18 and 5:40....so no, it wasn't a change in air.

Looking at all my slips from GLD, my fastest run of the night was not my quickest run. Well, try messing with your tune, something isn't right, you should be trapping faster.

I think trapping at 108 with the 14B and stock injectors is pretty good. I was just talking about the one i managed at 97 MPH when I let off...incase you didn't read the whole thing.

Oh, sorry for the confusion. That is very good trap speed, if you ever want 550's let me know, i'm going to be getting rid of these for next year, so i'll happily give you a little discount(i bought them new last summer).

I have a set of 550's sitting here. found out i didn't quite need them yet when I hook my car up to a wideband. So i figured I'd wait till next season for a whole new retune.

Run more boost? I'm to keen when it comes to nitrous, but you seem to run pretty low boost. Maybe you should come down to GLD and try this track? Oh ya, the difference. I've ran a 13.7 at 106, and a 13.1 at 106, with the same 60's, its weird.

Get rid of the 14b. A fast spooling turbo on a fwd car kills traction and peters out up top.

pointdsm- I think 19psi i quite a bit for the little 14B.

I know, but my goal was 12's on the stock 14b. Its all in the 60' at this point. I know if i could manage a 1.8 60' again I should be in the 12's. I might have 2 wheel power soon.... might.

what do you mean whn you "had your car hooked up to the wideband?" Did you have your car dyno'd when John had his done? Please tell us some numbers!!!

My dyno was the street, and I used an innovative wideband that they usually use on a dyno :). Just used it to find out I couldd actually richen out my high setting on my MAFT even though my logger said my fuel trims were really lean. stupid logger.
