How does it take you 6+ hours round trip from Mil-town? It took me 6 hours round trip when I lived in Chicago to get here. Do you take the scenic route or something?

From where I work to my house in Point it takes 3 hours... 2.5 without Friday traffic.

Then add another hour-ish on top of that to get to the track on Sunday.

this ones gonna be close for me.. i might have to pull my motor and change some bearings and put it back in before this... ill know today hopfuly if thats the case.. still trying to track down the noise.. gonna pull the bearing caps today since the oil pan is off and inspect them so i can rule that out if its not the case

the best part if your just watching is bringing a helmet riding along with people.. its kind of like a roller coaster ride!!

^^^ There will be more than one EVO driver skipping race day and paintballing instead. Don't knock it till you try it.

I'm not going because I don't want to. If a high speed event pops up I may be game especially if its at a new track. This years main objective was to hit Grattan and BHFs. Mission complete. Next year I'd like to visit MAM and Gingerman.

If you enter marshfield on hwy 13 you will keep driving on 13 until you get to CR H just before a Bread N Butter gas station and you turn left onto H and drive for a couple miles and the speedway will be on the left.

Not a huge turnout, but for those who came out got treated to a great timel. 10 timed runs and a very fast course at the very edge of autocross limits.

That was the most fun I have had in a long time, Im definitely going to continue autocrossing!! I think I'm going to focus on handling and balancing out my car instead of more power because it has plenty of power for autoX already. First thing is stickier tires!!

Shawano is a no go for me. Gonna be paintballing again. Everyone is welcome to attend. There are only about two good (warm) paintball weekends left.

the talon is running the best it ever had. but I am affraid evil you are going to miss your oppertunity to try and beat the dizmm. I dont think I will have it next year. I want to try something new

Some interesting tidbits from the last two Marshfield events:

Based off my time (same car, driver, tires) the course was set up about .8 second faster, but this is deceiving because it was warmer at the last event and the track seemed much grippier. Anyways.

Dizmm got 5.7 seconds faster since the last event. :shock: I guess that chocolate milk he sniffed out at the beginning of the day really motivated him. :D

Mr. Fuji gained half a second. :D

Mack aye ahhh gained - 7.7 seconds :D

Highline Motorsports gained - 1.5 seconds :D

Turbo Chick gained - 2.3 seconds :D

Kronztak gained - 3.6 seconds :D

Foci2ner gained - .7 second :D

Evil - Lost 4 months 10 days :(

At Marshfield it was really obvious that car of yours has plenty of power.

I forgot to mention the style points award for the Marshfield event. At first I was thinking it was going to Dave with the Mustang and his power-slide at the finish. He did an awesome job of correcting. But all that fancy driving couldn't hold a candle to GLHotties style.

Pink sweatshirt and helmet coordinated with her pink GSXRated brake calipers, but to top it off she managed to hit an orange cone which somehow made a pink streak down the side of her car instead of the usual black/orange. :shock:
