A GTO, he beat me once before by 3 lengths but that was before I had my afc and I was running low boost. If I have a good launch I should have him no problem!

Yep, my bro wants to race me to see who's is faster. He may have me in power and speed but I know that when it comes to driving and knowing how to race I have the advantage, seeing this is his first 'fast car' and a 5 speed at that. It should be very interesting though.

Well since mine is at 10psi that would be a good race with both cars at 10. I think 18psi and that car will probably leave me in the dust with the right driver! That and I think at 18psi Jarid will probably kill himself.

My Evo isnt stock, but it runs stock times :D just a BC and and Exhaust but ill set the boost back to 19.

I tied the 350z, I should have beaten him by a little bit since I did catch up at the end to tie, I had a bad launch and then bogged second gear.

Im pushing as much boost as I can, safely, without popping a whole in the block again. The weak point of this engine is the connecting rods, no bigger around than my pinkie finger, I have three of the old rods if you want to see. Otherwise it's an iron block so once I get internals this thing can handle over 500hp. But then there is the weak tranny... I guess this car is just not made to handle gobs of power but is made to be balanced with power and handling. As of now the car is already too powerful in turns and starts to spin and push through corners at WOT. There are guys who have proteges in the 11's but they break something almost every time they take the car out. I may do the internals so that is out of the way and then focus on balancing out the handling and looks. If I want to go nuts with power I will have to look at another platform. Sorry, no evo's for me though, I like to be unique!

i ran a 12.8 my very last run of the day..i was content with that...

idk but my DSM did very well this weekend, for reliabilityreasons...

i went from marshfield to chippewa falls and to eau claire friday night,
then saturday i was raceing at the rock falls strip all day and then drove home to marshfield for about half an hour, then drove to point raced there on saterday night..and sunday i drove to kaukauna and raced their all day then drove all the way back to marshfield.. and not one single hick up from the car, almost 1000 miles.. i was really really surprised...

well for us AWD guys, we could care less about track prep. I got a 1.65 60 footer, and we were both running street tires, treadware rating of 300 and we both were spinning all through 1st.

There were a lot of 9-10 second pro street cars there. acctually there were maybe a total of 15-20 street cars there, the rest of the 200+ cars were basically pure drag monsters.

sorry didnt read the rest of your post... yeah there was some pretty crazy cars there... couple running 8's and alot running 10's. but non of them were even close to being street legal...im hopeing for next time i go to be in the 11's....and still have a setup that i can auto-x...

Ben.... I had the same problem with my Probe. Loved the car but it just didn't want to be reliable after 300 whp. I went through 4 trannies before I decided I needed a change.

Well, did not help that we were driving through the water box. To be completely honest, I rather have my tires spin then to not. Its when they dont spin is when i brake shit. I drove around the water box once and I bogged really bad. Last time i bogged that bad i broke my center diff.

When I raced the 350, I accidentally short shifted first gear....I temporarily forgot what I was doing...oops!!!!!
