HS night are more boring to watch, but better if your are only looking for your own time slip.

What's the deal with the high school night?

I know they have bracket racing for teenagers and then timed runs for everyone else. Or wait isn't it $5 per run if you are over the age of 19?

RSD - do they still have it where people who want a time slip have to wait while the people in the "good old boys club" get to make all the runs they want?

I havent been to the track in a couple of years, but...

High School night I think is 3 runs for $30 with a punch card, unless things have changed (which I doubt). There is NO track prep at HS Night.

RSD is still the same format, always will be. Those of us that are (were?) in the Good Ol' Boys Club get to run as much as they (we?) want in the street race lanes while test n' tuners will sit until the street races have a break in the "action".

I never had any problems getting plenty of runs with timeslips, but I always ran Pro Tree lane which seemed to also get preference over the TNT lanes. Then again, you could bring a phucking snowmobile and make more runs than anyone else because for some reason bikes and sleds seemed to get preference over everything.

I dont think things will ever change at WIR Tom, lets no even open that can of worms. Next thing you know Jeff will be in here bitching about how he hates WIR after they phucked his sister or killed his dog or something....:)

rsd is friday, id wait and go then...

last rsd i went to was fine, got as many runs as I wanted.

best thing to do if and when you see certain cars budding in...get behind them and follow.

I dont know where you guys read that its 3 runs for 30 bux or $5 per run. Its a flat rate for all the runs you want. The high school racing has almost completely died since I raced for my High school. The high school racing nights consists mostly of the test and tune runners.

Ill probly be at the RSD the 5th also though.

I paid $30 for a punch card 3 summers ago. You got 3 runs. That was the one and only HS Night I will ever attend.

I believe that punch card was for the whole summer, or maybe some kind of package deal? Idk I guess thats not how it was when I was there last.

I just looked it up and you are correct its $25. for 3 runs. I will just use my old student ID from school and get a student pass and run all I want haha

Usually HS night is slow enough they don't actually care about the stupid punch cards. Get there early, get your runs in, get your slip, go home.

3 runs for $25. No thanks, but I suppose if they aren't that busy they'd let you make more runs.

RSD - Also if they aren't that busy you'd get enough runs. I hate to show up though and then for some reason half the state is there also wanting to make runs.

Try this:

It was the bachelor or birthday party at WIR for Andy W. and has now turned into a cruise night or something like that

Oh, yeah, I saw that. I was pretty bummed that I couldn't get in on the track rental but my car hasn't seen the road even this year.

Old bump, but I thought I would update. The Subaru did the 1/4 mile in 13.6 @ 96 mph. I put in some race gas and left the Grabbers in place! Haha Beat a Subaru on 21 psi and a tune! He said his clutch was slipping:yikes:
