I need to borrow someone's grease gun.
I have a few fittings that need some lube and I don't want to buy my own for this semi annual activity.

I hear that ASM invested in a grease gun. Maybe you could borrow that one.

That is good to hear! Now if Tomkat would stop cancelling events maybe you could prove that.

well there is a BHF time attack on the 25th. I wish it was a lapping day instead. not sure if I am going to go or not. kinda a long haul for 5-10 minutes of track time.

Too expensive for what you get.

Those time attacks offer very little bang for the buck. They give you like 2 10 minute warm up sessions then about 4 single lap timed runs.
Its not worth the gas to get there or the trouble of switching to race tires, brakes, and fuel for a few minutes of track time.
Lastely, timed events are not covered by insurance.
You know, that sounded exactly like me when you ask me to go to track events.

i would not be worried about insurance or getting the car ready to race. Its the whole, taking a day off work, gas to get there, back, and for the event. thats at least $100 in premium petro, and if i want race fuel, add another $50. Plus the cost of a the event, and all for only 20 minutes TOTAL of track time. that does not factor in the cost of tires, brakes, and other maintanance on the car.
However, the marshfield/GS auto-x Events are a GREAT bargin!!!!

I asked you to go to lapping days where you get more track time than you can take.
For the record when asked why you didn't show up at Shopko for a race you gave the same answer so I'm not sure if its a fair comparison.
I'm going to sell all my cars and invest in beer and whores.
