That car does not run 10s, more like 13, Matt used to own that car and sold it to his friend Josh. The transmission has been out of that car for nearly 3 years. I don't think it will be out again.

For 60K, I'd definitely prefer a car that had...let's see...a heater, a radio, soft seats (preferably a soft, buttery leather), AC, cruise control...the list goes on. Guess our priorities are different!

That Ariel was not bought with the intention of taking it to car shows. The owner was cool enought to bring it out so that people can see an Atom in person. Sheesh.

i have to agree here... that car is a little different than a brand new stock cavalier or escalade. it is VERY rare, and is cool to see at a show like that. guaranteed you won't see many around here other than that one.... unlike new escalades etc...

that wasn't a stab at you... just that i have seen brand new stock escalades at car shows... and i don't get the point. like helby said, whoopty doo! however, have you seen my car at a car show?? no. didn't think so. :D but it does better at shawano and autoX's than any escalade i've seen... :lol:

in fact, there is no toyota here in the states that looks like the IS300. the IS is the only Lexus series that doesn't have a Toyota Look-a-like here in the states. the ES is the Camry, the GS is the Avalon. but the IS is the Altezza in Japan, nothing here in the states. so in a way, the IS is a little different as well i guess. but i wouldn't take it to a car show in stock form anyways. i just enjoy driving it!

TK i get it and i was not ripping on the owner..i do not even know the owner. You and me both know people who bring stock cars to a car show and win prizes and crap...bradnew montes and stuff...its bullshit. I think its cool the guy brings it out so people can see it but my point was i hateit when people do the new car thing blah blah. make some sense?
