Hey everybody, as many of you know I have been in the seminary studying to be priest. Well the first big step is coming up On June 12th--I will be ordained a deacon and then about a year later I will be ordained a priest. The deacon ordination is in Port Edwards at my home parish, St Alexanders and there will be a party/reception afterwards with great food and maybe some good music. Anyhow, I hope all of you folks that I know from TT and autocrossing, ice racing, track days and all the other things we do can come and celebrate.

I talked to Tom and Andy about it already, and I think they are planning on coming.

So yeah, the mass/ordination starts at 9AM and and will last about 1 1/2 hours and then the party will be from 10:30AM to 2PM or so. Come to both parts or just one, whatever, I hope you can make it! We are planning the food now so I need to know who plans on attending. Post it up here, PM me, what ever--let me know who is coming! Jeske, Nick, Cronze, Megan, Katie...

And no boring cars--

AWD cars can't do very good burnouts.

I'm thinking a BMW would be appropriate for this occasion.

Too loud. You gotta be quiet on Sundays.

I thought once you got rid of the car, I didn't owe you any more...

Yeah I think super loud obnoxious Hondas would be perfect by the way

^^ I was wondering that myself. Suit/tie? flip-flops/cutoffs/tanktop? Clothing optional? lol!

Congratulations, Bruenta!

Now we have to call you Deacon Dave, and then next year it'll be Daddy Dave....

Nice Fu Manchu, btw! Few more years, you'll be Master Ping's double!

Wow, it was a great day, it went by fast. Everyone was well dressed--i was impressed! Thanks for being there with me in this. I even made the news--channel 9! I'm an even bigger deal than I thought. Glad you liked the food, you could have taken a bunch home with you--there were tons of leftovers.
OK gotta rest now
