Dizmm you can't get any better than an EVO for the price. I am looking for a black EVO9 MR or SE. That is why my suspension is not forsale. If I find one on the lot I will trade my car in. In the mean time I will list it forsale and continue to enjoy it in nearly stock form. After all, even stock, its better than 95% of the cars on the road. The remaining 5% are EVOs.

well, i actually was impressed how will the dizmm did at shawano. it got me thinking that its finally running good and many of the bugs are worked out, so now its time to move on. the talon runs great at 16psi, i see some good timing numbers, but anything over that, the air just becomes so hot that advancing the timing is not possable at all. dam 2.4 eats up tooo much air which maxes out that 16g.

The 2.4 - 16G combination is not a good matchup. I would say a BB 50 trim and stroker would be the bomb! Did you ever get the cyclone IM on there?

that was stash that got the cyclone. i installed a stock 1g.

the 16g does not spool fast enough for me, so by going to any bigger turbo, it wont be any better.

I think your problem is the turbo itself. The 16G cannot flow enough to supply air to that big hog. Anyway get an EVO soon so we can have our own Stevens Point EVOs forum on EVOM

seems that stevens point people are buying up all the evo's in the US. I dont think it is possable to have a DSM spool up as fast as an EVO. I already tried the 2.0L T28 setup on my spyder, and it was not bad, but still not as good as an evo. a stroker is no better, even with a smaller turbo that it should have on it. I could just throw a big turbo on it and finish this year with an 11 second car, but thats just a waste of money just to have some stupid peace of paper that says how fast i ran.

Actually now that I think about it there was a thread on the DSMLink forum and out of the 50-60 16G and other logs posted I had the fastest spooling log out of the bunch. I think it has alot to do with IC, IC pipes, and tune.

I dont know, have'nt drivin my spyder in a while, so its hard to compare riding in an evo now than riding in my spyder a year ago. you had alcky in your DSM, otherwise there is no way your running 26 psi on a t28 without knock.

LOL since you are in the dark I'll hook you up. The alignment was done weeks ago and came out fine. In fact with the adjustable suspension I still have a few degrees of adjustment. Of course I did have to replace a coilover and lower control arm before even attempting an alignment. You should swing by and check out those parts.

The car was back and could have been ready for Shawano. But like I said in the old forum I think I'm done paying to get myself car sick at Shawano. Instead went to the bachelor party and slept in late! Then enjoyed the nice weather.

The car was at the body shop because I incurred a dent by my moon roof that bugged me much like the dents in my ranger tailgate. I hate dents. I took it to Jer to clean it up. He did a wonderful job on my shaved PGT bumper but this time he tried PDR and it didn't come out as cleanly as I had wanted. He agreed it could be better and will do it over.

I have found a Black EVO SE I want in Florida. Very tempted to fly down and pick it up but there is no way to negociate price once I'm down there and dealers alway lie about vehicle condition.

I'm thinking the smartest thing to do would be hold on to my EIGHT till winter. Then find a NINE someplace warm. Carole and I can take a road trip to pick up the new car.
