its a 81 some tool put a 327 in it all the vac lines are screwed up and wires not hooked up headlights pop up with vac thats a big ass mess right now so my headlights dont pop up right now but the sidepipes sound cool :twisted:

Because it's fiberglass, it flexes, and it takes forever to get it straight. Not to mention you generally have to take it down to the gel coat. Which means hours of wet sanding. You can do it on the cheap, but fiberglass is very unforgiving. If you can do a lot of the work yourself, probably around $1500-$2500 depending on the quality of supplies, and how much you do yourself. Drop it off someplace and don't expect to get away with much under $5000. I've seen show quality jobs cost almost $10K.

Welcome to hell.
Info on tuning the car. Set timing around 12 BTDC with vac. advance unhooked. With mechanical advance, it should be around 36 degrees before 3000 rpm for optimal throttle feel. Vacuum advance will add another 20 degrees of timing.
Set your timing before you start playing with the carb.
Check out corvetteforum.com in the C3 Tech section, there's a lot of info, and good people there.

Tires hurt me, very badly. It was fun, but with those cars running around on race rubber, and me on crappy all-seasons, i wasn't going to make any bigs moves.

the in-car cam was a great setup. unfortunately, the arternoon sun washed everything out. the morning in-car videos are great, unfortunately nothing cool happened in the morning, just me tooling around the track. the afternoon is when all the cool chase scenes were, not to mention some hefty doriffftttoooooo in the Lexus as well. unfortunately, you can't see much past the fron dash of the car due to lighting conditions. i checked the video after the first few runs (in the morn) and it was perfect, so i didn't change any settings, and didn't check it again all afternoon. and unfortunately, you can't see sh*t. owell, next time i'll try some different settings i guess.

TK forgot one match (a non-regulation match though, so i forgive him)

TC vs GLHottie vs Luxory Low-Down Winner Camera Chase Vehicle... if the video would have turned out, you could see i was in hot pursuit all the way, not losing any ground to these two crazy turbocharged women.

all in all, most of us got sunburned but had a great time anyways!

TC, the in-car stuff of your car did not turn out at all, all washed out. however, i did get some footage of your car from workin corner 2. not a lot, but a few laps for sure. i'll have to mess with the light settings next time a little more. also got some decent footage of dizmm chasing the EVO's from corner 2.

got some good footage of the aftermath of the rollover. he requested that i not post that footage online, so i won't. however, if you stop by i'll be happy to share with you.

definetely a GREAT lapping day. going to need to do some major tire rotations this week, outside of the tires are rounded pretty good. guess i should look into buying some major street cred king of the universe 19"ers for daily use and keep these for track days.

I had a special clause put into my auto insurnace stating I attend drivers education schools. Earlier this year AM FAM sent me a letter saying they no longer cover any closed course training. It doesn't matter if its a track or temporary course. Not covered. I posted the thread in FVSCC.

I get sick simply driving at Shawano.... I would have shit and pissed myself as well if I flipped the fucker. Not only that but having a passenger get injured during that stunt could be the most costly part.
