new AutoX tires and rims

ok, both used, but a good deal.

Rota RB's for the wheels, and Hoosier A6's for the tires.

13x8 rims, 255/40-13 tires.

This is the AE86 they used to be on..

I'm liking the fact that they're an inch shorter than my current 225/50-14 A5's, so instead of being at the rev limiter in 2nd, I'll be able to get into 3rd and keep it there!!

i love my Hoosiers for my Omni. but they sure aren't that wide. then again, i got a helluva a deal on them!!

May 16th is an autocross school at Columbus 151 Speedway.

May 30th is the first scheduled FVSCC autocross, but we may have one scheduled for Marshfield soon.

May 2 is the first MSCC event, at the Noah's Ark parking lot.

I DID use that picture last year, describing something or other. Last year, I used 225/50-14 Hoosier A3S05's, brand new, on Celica-Supra 14x7, +8mm wheels. I did buy a set of Used Hankook Z214, C51 compound 225/50-14's, mounted on brand new Konig Rewind 14x7, -9mm wheels.

All the while yearning for some Spinwerke 13x10 wheels, with the 255/40-13, which you see in that photo above.

Cool part is, in theory, at 6600rpm (peak power), I will be able to do 62mph in 3rd gear with the (used) Hoosiers, that should arrive next Monday! Hopefully, I'll be able to put the power to the ground where I need it!!!!

4.778:1 R&P. Stock is 4.3:1. Last year, 2nd was too low but 3rd was too high. I need all I can get with only 108@ the wheels.
