I have thought about this previously. When i was at spash, thinking of shootings, and how easy it would be simply at spash to kill over 100 students. Theres nothing you can really do about it, but to say schools are safe is wrong. The scary part is that this was in college, usually the problem people are sorted out in high school or don't make it to college.

And apparently this week in history is ripe with these kinds of events. Don't forget that Columbine was on the 20th and there were also significant things (tragic things) happening all week in the past. I think the 19th is the anniversary of the Branch Davidian (sp?) also. Not the best week, I guess.

the kid was a lil bit loony...had a problem with "rich kids" and all the kids on campus sinning and stuff. just a horriable event....

At least his English teacher tried to do something about it when she realized how disturbed his writings were. Unfortunately, without a direct threat, the police claimed there was nothing they could do. Guess they could do something now...too little...too late. So sad.
