G12 Coolant

Anyone know anything about it, advantages, why... Thats the service manual for vw says to use, just wondering why. The engine normaly runs at 190 up to 215 before the fan kicks in, dont really know if that has anything to do with it...

It ask for it since it a different mix so you don't corode the system. I would just get that prestone all makes and all models coolant and not worry about it.
