Just know how to drive, we used to wheel to wheel race on the ice every night back when we raced on mcdill. Only two accidents were reported, Tom ran into abbot because Tom likes to hit things while on ice (look at his house) and Kurt ran into the back of my truck once but no damage was done.

Now days everyone has nice cars and are all uptight about them and we have to follow rules and only have one car on the ice at a time. Thats lame and boring. Either get a beater or learn how to drive. Wheel to wheel is 200% more fun than one car at a time boring ass timed runs.

There have been a lot more than 2 incidents. Myself and Abbot collided on the Wisconsin River not McDill by the way. I t-boned Kronztak pretty good last year. I'd recommend a $200 car for the wheel to wheel races and yes it is a lot more fun than time trials, but I like to have a nice car.

If the cars have snow tires and are comparable on ice. The jeep doesn't stop and turn like your cars on the ice. And I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be the jeep taking the damage in a collision.

I'd love to give it a go if it wasn't pure slick ice.

They plowed a big pile of snow at the landing for McDill. We may be able to get around it. I'll check tonight.

There are two ways onto McDill so whenever you guys want to go out there I'm game.

If you do go out there make sure you stay on the same side of the lake as the landing. I'm pretty sure the ice at the channel won't be as thick.
