VPT,
have you welded a driveshaft before? reason i asked is my stinkin supra driveshaft is a two piece and i need to make it a one piece. i got two of them so if you need to take a extra chunk from the other one you can. Let me know when you can do this..Need to get car running.

BTW. waiting on new fuel pump so i won't be able to drop gas tank off for a while for the sump project.

VPT my cell is 252-4700

WTF MPF. You don't just weld two driveshafts together. You buy a driveshaft that is already made for your application. If you weld two driveshafts together it will be horribly out of balance. By the time you dick with balancing and getting it straight you might as well just buy one. For that matter why don't you just keep the split driveshaft. That type of driveshaft works just fine in the 240SX.

Sump project????? Why don't you just get a fuel cell. :? :?

For the driveshaft to work your two end cups would need to be ground off and a whole new pipe would have to be welded into the middle. Than you would have to take it to rapids to have it balanced.

Some people don't like big bulky fuel cells sloshing around in thier back seat TK.

That's why you put it in the trunk or rear hatch area, but I suppose it's nicer to have the original fuel tank.

Illegal in the hatch unless covered. That and nothing like having to pop your hatch to put gas in.
