I like the idea, and I like the function. Just wondering if anyone had thoughts or input?

Also peaking at roll center kits.

I like more caster, but I think you'll have enough caster from your GC Camber/Caster plates. Too much caster can have a negative effect. I've heard of some complaining about excessive bump steer with those. I think your low mileage evo 9’s control arm bushings are basically bran new and don’t need to be replaced.

I'd get the RCK before the PSRS kit. Dont do more than one kit at a time. do one, then try it.

i want a whiteline roll center kit for my STi and then let Dizzm set me up with a good street/track alignment!!! now that i Fd up my street tires at the last lapping day, might as well finish them off with some fun at the track!

^ you would be just fine with getting some more static camber. I got some whiteline camber bolts.

They also make a 0* caster Perrin kit.

the only advantage then is a solid bushing. not worth it.

What happened to the Rocking the stockish setup for a while mindset

Stockish on the installed motor/turbo upgrades. I don't feel like I would be gettign a fair feel for the stock IX turbo and Mivec otherwise. Suspension I don't mind getting into right away, there were no improvements from the VIII to the IX there.

^BTW hows the new turbo plans going?

I was under the impression that the stock bushing was rather lacking, letting LCA move around a good deal, altering the toe and caster mid turn. Perhaps the Whiteline poly bushing would be a better option?

Dizmm: thought you told me you sold those camber bolts?? yes, i'd like those for the front... and then i'll have you tweak the back too. i'm not happy with what was done to the back previously.

maybe on a 80k mile evo, but yours is like new. I might be wrong but going solid bushings may even take you out of SM and into the next step up.

I don't think I'm even in SM yet.

Clutch, exhaust, tune, and coilovers.

Yeah they do bump you to a different category. I was also looking at the Perrin LCA's for my Legacy since mine are ripped. After some reading people say they are very harsh and that you can feel every little bump on the road, even paint marks. Being my DD I decided to go with some AVO LCA's that are poly. I got the zero offset ones though. Getting them installed on Tuesday.

I've been in SM longer than any other class.. Doubt that is the real issue. Not to mention I placed better in SM than I ever did in BSP last year. I'm all about having fun and trying to beat people like Andy, you and TK. Thats the real challange I face.

I had Jesse install my AVO lca yesterday and I could tell on the ride home that it firmed up the wandering feeling on the road and made the steering feel firmer. I could feel a little bit more of the bumps on the road, but it was worth it. I think the Perrins would have been too harsh.

I've read that after "awhile" these parts like to make noise.

I would stick with the new suspension and try that on for size first. I really don't think the PSRS will provide much benefit. The money could be better spent elsewhere.
