If you're using the Mozilla Firefox web browser (highly recommended):

right-click on the photo, and select "copy image location".
Then type the first [img] then right-click and paste (or just CTRL-V if you use keyboard shorcuts). Then type the second [img]. voila!

so, if you click on this link (http://sharkpork.com/gallery/v/vehick/rallybuick/480130722_8d56fd5794_o.jpg.html), you'll see a photo of the RallyBuick™ in action.

So then you right-click on the photo, "copy image location", which is:
http://sharkpork.com/gallery/d/925-2/480130722_8d56fd5794_o.jpg

to make that as a visible image on the page, you would type:
http://sharkpork.com/gallery/d/925-2/480130722_8d56fd5794_o.jpg

that then gives you this:
http://sharkpork.com/gallery/d/925-2/480130722_8d56fd5794_o.jpg

If you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer:

A couple extra steps, but the same concept.
right-click on the image on the web page, select properties, highlight the image location, right/click-copy (or ctrl-c), then paste between the tags.

so, if you click on this link (http://sharkpork.com/gallery/v/vehick/rallybuick/480130722_8d56fd5794_o.jpg.html), you'll see a photo of the RallyBuick™ in action.

So then right-click on the photo, and select "Properties" (at the bottom of the pop-up menu). That should give you a window that looks like this:
[img]http://sharkpork.com/gallery/d/3566-1/IEimageLocation.jpg

Take your mouse and highlight the text that I have selected in black. You can then just type CTRL-C, or right-click and copy. That gives you this code that you can paste:
http://sharkpork.com/gallery/d/925-2/480130722_8d56fd5794_o.jpg

to make that as a visible image on the page, you would type:
http://sharkpork.com/gallery/d/925-2/480130722_8d56fd5794_o.jpg

that then gives you this:
http://sharkpork.com/gallery/d/925-2/480130722_8d56fd5794_o.jpg

Pretty much the same for both browsers, but Firefox seems to be more efficient at a lot of things, especially if you're on forums a lot. If you're on a macintosh, well, I'm not going to go through the trouble of another pictorial, since I personally hate them and wish that iTunes had never been made, so they would've died the death they deserved.

BumpStop, I'm really hoping that this means some photos of your mazda kickassery!!!

FIXED

"url/picture location"

Can't get any simpler than that.

lol i know how to put the url here i was just bringing it to the attention of everyone that its not working when you click the button to insert image for the less technically inclined people that dont know how to post up pictures other then clicking the button. i just didnt know if it was my browser or what was going on that it wasnt working. figured out that safari doesnt like the forums thought now so it was just a problem for me.

the img button does work, just have to right click on the yellow security bar and allow scripted windows.

If you dont see the img button, then go into your "User CP," then "edit options" on your left, and at the very buttom, change the "Message Editor Interface" to enhanced interface.

thanks andy

another question. in safari when i put a emoticon or post a picture the image or emoticon does not show up only the html format or whatever. is there a setting in safari to change it so i can actually view the image before posting?

Any ideas why some pictures don't show up for me?

If I click the "Quote" I can see the asdfasd the user posted from the original post but the actual picture doesnt show up.

that usually means the original poster did something wrong.

Or, in your User Control Panel, under Settings and Options/Edit Options/Thread Display Options, make sure that you have the checkbox checked for "Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)"
