So A few buddies and myself have set up a nice little track out on the chain of lakes in waupaca. The track goes around an island on one of the lakes, and takes about 1:30 seconds to do a lap. I was wondering if any of you guys were interested in making a short drive to waupaca wednesday out to try out our track, and set some new times. I was thinking sometime around 7pm on wednesday night. So is anyone interested?

anyone who wants to come the direction are:
if coming on hwy 10 to waupaca from stevens point
take first Waupaca exit, 54/49 exit,
take a left going west on hwy 54
go about a mile, just past the golf course,
take left on otter drive.
then right on pine ridge lane to the taylor lake boat landing

Alright so I changed things a bit. We are meeting at the Burger King in Waupaca (right off of Hwy 10) at 7pm for a whopper wednesday. Then we will head out to the Ice.

Just so you guys know. This isnt anything shnazy, but I think its a good change of pace from dubay. I am also not sure how long the track will stay nice and snow covered (some parts are quite thin) but I guess that should be expected. I look forward to seeing everyone tonight. See you later today!

^ will you be running your galant?

No the Galant wil not be on the ice. Its in storage still and it is also still broken(needs a headgasket and lifters). Each day I am out there I think of it being out in the track, and it would be a blast. However I wanted to not drive it in the winter even if it was in good running condition, its a very clean Galant and I wanted to keep it that way. I would like a cheaper Galant in worse shape to race out in the winter, that way I wouldnt feel bad about ruining a rare-ish car. As of right now I am car less. You have no idea how hard it is.....

If you got a few cars and want to store one away for winter, sure; but for god’s sake, don’t deprive yourself of beating on that AWD rally car.

Thanks Waupaca guy for hosting a great event.

The Whoppers were delicious, but the really cool thing was that our group (CWSCC) was just as big as the car show guys that hang out at BK in Paca on Wednesday nights. CWSCC representin.

Loved the track around the island. Good times.

Great time last night. Glad to see more people out on the track. Hopefully we can do it again sometime soon, and try and stop be wheelhouse for some pizza buffet.

As for the "thugs" we encountered at the BK lounge. I think we made our selfs known, I expect a gang type throwdown next time we show up at the BK lounge.

Thanks again for comming out. It was a fun time.

I think Jake should get a wagovan for a backup car. At least that way he'll have a reliable car to fall back on when the dsm is acting like a dsm.
