What's everyone else doing for events in 2010?

I've been reading into the Redline Time Attack events. I like their rules.

Stock Class
2.8.4 The Stock Class follows the rules of Street Class. Rules mentioned in this section (2.8) that are more restrictive, are the ones that will be followed for Stock Class.
2.8.5 Engine Swaps are NOT permitted. (3)
2.8.6 Upgrading the OEM turbo is permitted, so long as the turbo is "stock appearing" and/or using a "stock sized" housing.
2.8.7 Optimizing the OEM Turbo or Supercharger (i.e. porting, replacing the internal components, etc) is permitted.
2.8.8 The following "Upgrades" are permitted: Intercooler, Downpipe, Exhaust, Header, Intake, Intake Manifold, Cams, Boost Controller, Air/Fuel Controller, Upgraded cylinder heads, throttle body, MAF or MAP sensor. Competitors who have an "upgrade" that does not appear on this list, should contact RTA Immediately to receive written approval for the upgrade.
2.8.9 OEM "Bottom End" must

why do they even call it a stock class is you can pretty much "upgrade" any engine componet on the vehicle?

they should just call it, stock shortblock class.

A limit of a 255 wide, 140 treadwear or more tire in street/stock classes. they also require a cat in street/stock class

they are the most current rules. They may tweak them a bit, but it gives you an idea. Stock to them mean is not so much stock, its basically a full on SM car on street rubber.

heres the most current ones they dont have ''stock class'' listed yet?

well there is a big jump from their new enthusiast class to street tire class.

enthusiast is almost like STU and then from there its street tire class which is less restrictive then SM.
