Are the tires winter drivable?

the tires are ventus HRII

Could be driven in winter but not recommended for snow IMO. also just checked the tires and 2 of them have more tread worn down on the outside edges from turning corners too fast.

Dang, alright. Those don't look very winter friendly you're right.

For $500.... I suggest you just hold on to them. Put them on the shelf and when you want to sell the car swap them back on. BTW what do you have to replace them?

yeah in the 17" size. The little searching I did 18" were ~$50/tire more. So if I can find $200 ish rims and $100/tires I can save the hassle of buying expensive 18s and having to switch them on the stock rims.

I know i will buy some more rims and tires later, but right now I need the money for other things. I have some stock 8 rims with brand new snow tires ready to go on.

or he could buy these rims and tire, save the tires that are on them for a lapping day, and buy these for winter.
