I have a set of Evo 8 wheels that are painted flat black, in good condition, no bends, minimal rash. They have Hoosier R6s mounted on them, not much life left in the tires, one has cords showing. They are currently buried in the back of the garage, I will be pulling them out on Saturday, i will get pics then. 400 picked up. This was the only pic I could find in my photobucket that had them in it:

Calm down Jeff. The car is totally gutted and I know you would not want something like that. It does not even have a dash board. No motor, no tranny and everything is tore apart. You are welcome to stop by and check it out but I know you would not take on a project like this.

My mind can change as fast as yours apparently. But Frank is right, oyu would not have wanted the car in its current condition.

Yeah. I plan on picking up a kart over winter. I will also be getting rid of the Talon and picking up a nice daily driver. Thinking that will be a WRX wagon.

What year? I'm thinking I will be going with a 07-09. Seems like the most practical car for me. I want something awd has a little power and is a hatch or wagon so it has plenty of room for bikes or snowboards.

a clean wrx wagon is hard to find. not to mention they go for top dolla.
a clean 04 wrx wagon with low miles will run ya 15k+

Probably 2k for the 1g. I would like to keep it through winter though. Something like this is what I would be looking for: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2007-WRX-LIMITED-6-spd-Leather-Snrf-Brembos-NJ_W0QQitemZ270480367431QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars _Trucks?hash=item3ef9e2df47

yeah, kind of a pooch compared to my Subi... ummm, not that i would know or have tested that... i'm just assuming the lack of turbo would equate to a slower drive??
j/k dizmm, i really did NOT test it out. no worries.
just got it all wiped down and vacuumed... ready to start the transformation!

yeah those are very nice. it seems those wrx wagon's go for just as much if not more than an sti.
make sure you ditch the cats on the wrx's for a single race cat or something. they have a cat before the turbo and then 2 more after.
