Parts will be available via Harley Davidson for a long while so it's a pretty good deal.

I know the guy that took the picture. He proceded to purchase it for $4400 and then added 3 years warrany for $100. Harley released a statement that they will be supporting(parts and service) the Buell line for 7 years from now.
I always thought the perimeter brake on the front wheel was cool.
Anyways... that deal is nationwide. Here's a quick googled example: http://www.performancehd.com/ "Buell 1125R now only $4,999 New. Includes two year warranty. While supplied last." So for $100 more you can tack on 3 years for 5 years total warranty.
So now that it's real, I want to see you act on your word. :D
Buell's headquarters is based out of East Troy, Wisconsin so there should be a ton around there.

umm no Kurt, the 1125r engine is built by Rotax. Thats like saying a Ducati, Suzuki TL1000R, or Honda RC51 sound like a Harley because they all V-Twins

i said they SOUND like a harley. just becuase it's built by someone else doesn't mean it doesn't have the harley sound still! built to harley specs i imagine.

Its a Rotax design, not HD
ROTAX specs:
EngineHelicon, Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 72 V-TwinDisplacement68.7 cu in (1,126 cc)Bore4.055 in. (103 mm)Stroke2.658 in. I don't know how a 69 cu in, greatly over square, high compression, liquid cooled, DOHC, 4 valve, 8k rpm engine can SOUND like a lazy, 103 cu in, greatly under square, air cooled, pushrod 2 valve cruiser. Totally different animals

Well... it's a little harleyish... The 72 degree V and a slightly off-balance timing on piston firing makes it somewhere between Harley and sport V-twins. Now don't be comparing those TL1000's to an RC-51 :) In comparison the TL idles like a monkey on heroine.
Either way, these Beull's are 375lb 146hp machines. Yeah the weight is in all the wrong area's and they aren't as tight feeling as a Ducati 1098 or Honda RC-51 but they DO move their arse very quickly.

put a 4" fartcan on a Honda Civic and it sounds like a Toro WeedWacker... but that doesn't mean it's made by Toro does it? nope.

you did more to prove my point there, most Harleys have some type of aftermarket pipes anyways
I did ride one yersterday, more like put put around the parking lot at Wausau. They won't let me take the demo for a ride because the signals didn't wok for some reason which is a real nice selling point. LOL
I does have a better riding postion for me on long rides, I'm 6'2", compared to my RC51, but I think overall, I'd rather just keep my Honda

I downloaded some vids and reviews.... I see why they went out of business. I'd rather have an R1.

Is it just me or am I the only one who looks at the Buell and cringes? Maybe I'm old school but just can not find anything like able about the look of them.
Now I look at this and love everything about it. Doesn't give off that futuristic, sci-fi, spaceship vibe. (BTW the tank is not dented)
