View Full Version : Me at Autobahn on Viper Days

Tom (red viper) was in front of my I could pass him but he was very good at least trying hard not letting me pass lol. I had a blast chasing him down. it started off about a good 1/8 mile behind him. My tires gripped up AWESOME!!!

2:59.348 was my best time and would probably shave a couple seconds off if I was on alone or no one around me

Well I decided to go 2 weeks ahead of time, or I would have posted up on here. I'll give ya heads up. Hopefully you won't be like the AMS EVO that was out there....he was hold about 5 of us back and finally let us pass him after he went off the track lol. He really sucked.

Cost for the Blackhawk auto x is $130 for non members.

I came to a conclusion, I have a buddy thats coming back home from Indiana this weekend. I'm gonna hang out with him. Thanks for letting me know. I plan on doing a couple events next year with you guys.

Yeah, it was silver and was pretty well beat up. I didn't take a close look at it.

haha I would like that challenge since I really only had one with that red viper. :D

Well if you find another event and give me a couple weeks notice ill probably be there , it'd be nice to see a viper get pushed to its limits around a track

For sure, but won't be until next year. usually there is two autobahn viper days but next year they were talking about doing three. The next meeting which is beginning of October, I want to see if we can do road america. Would you be able to do that or is it too fast? Autobahn I've got up to 120mph with caution but could have got up to 125-130mph pushing the limit. What tracks you like?

Im know jeffs car on his pump gas tune was hitting 120 plus at autobahn so i dought there will be a difference if any at all

Yeah that track definatly favors a top end car like yours but you come to a blackhawk with me and well call it even?

yeah im shooting for a couple spring events theres the early oct. event at RA thru midwest f-body
Im not looking to afford anything else this year though unless we have a BUNCH of people going

No the rim and tire package i wanted to use fell through he apparently didnt want to sell them for $45 bucks over what he listed them at , and i dont want to spend that much at a track unless my car is perfectly setup the way i want it, Tires are kinda a first on that list , oh well it will be something to look forward to for next spring

Yeah I think one of the Viper guy I know is going to that. My car isn't ready for that track. For sure next spring, do some events.
