This is an official invitation to find out what luxury performance sedan/vehicle has got it all!! Since there has been some bickering about it, I figure we should just find out CWSCC style!
I think it should be a close competition, but to keep it fair, I propose a traditional 3-way competition.
1. Shawano (cat/mouse)
2. 1/4 Mile
3. Auto Cross at GSS
Anyone with a luxury performance sedan/vehicle is welcome to attend. this is for 4doors only. Extreme's Caddy, VPTs Lincoln, My Lexus, and if Dizzm wants to bring mommy's Magnum, and anyone else with a performance luxury sedan/vehicle.
Whoever wins claims bragging rights for the rest of the season!

ps... on a side note, since I can already assume Extreme will bitch about the cost of Shawano in some way, I will offer to reimburse him 100% for the price of admission into Shawano if he beats me there.

I got a good triple challenge for you. We race quarter mile, see who can bitch slap Kurt the hardest and see who can kick Kurt in the nads the hardest.

Well, I have been doing some thinking here. You want to be a smart ass, so can I.
Right after your event, we go to my event. You must participate in each event also.
1. 1/4 mile race.
2. Hook up chains and see who can drag who around.
3. Hook up a car trailer with a car on the trailer and go to madison and back and see who gets back to Stevens Point first.
Tom, you may want to get in on this one but no. This is just to prove a point that Kurt is a pussy. This all started over Kurt not wanting to race my 6000 pound luxury vehicle. How sad!!!

this is not a smart ass reply to me not racing your truck, not to mention i DID agree to race it in the other post. this is me saying my car was not intended for straight line racing. just like yours may not be intended for turning. so that evens the playing field a little, that's all. but hey, i understand if you can't hang with likes of a lexus, or maybe are just scared that you're not a good enough driver... i understand that you're backing down. how about we do the 1/4mile first, if i win... you attend a shawano with ANY car of yours. just for fun. if i lose, that means you won!!! and you can sit your ass on your couch while i have fun at shawano.

as for VPT, it should be an easy one for him to attend. he's already done some autoXing, so trying it in the lincoln shouldn't be a problem, right? and sure, i'll go along with loser pays the entry fee for shawano, even the autox. i'm sure tom will let us work, and maybe give us a deal on entrance fee to see such an event like this.
i think we need to schedule a rematch...tonight?

Kurt is whining that he does not want to race my truck because his car is not made for 1/4 mile. Yet he was very willing to run VPT for the hell of it. Started out as a 1/4 mile run and Kurt made up some other events and now not willing to do my events. You made your point, everyone knows you are a pussy.
I simply said in the other thread that the caddy wanted to join in on the 1/4 mile run. I said nothing about this other crap.
And another reason why Kurt is a PUSSY. Kurt know that I am waiting for Donerite to get their laptap back after he slipped and fell and broke it. My truck is hitting the rev limiter and does not shift right until it gets back there. Kurt knows this and that is why he wants to race right away now. That is BITCH in my book!!!

Extreme.... If I were you I wouldn't race the Caddy until you get bigger injectors and a complete tune.
I would break out the black car and join the triple challenge with that. I think all triple challenges should be based on time. If someone gets beat by 2 seconds in the 1/4 mile they need to beat the other person by at least 1 second at shawano and GSS. Instead of a win/loss it should be a all about the tick tock of the clock.

Tires are not cheap for the ls. I'll do the 1/4 only, if thats not good enough than I forfeit the win to the camery.

Actually the IS300 is completely different from the Camry. Camry is IWD and IS 300 is CWD.

I thought for sure VPT would want to see an overall view of how his luxory sport sedan compared to another. but OK, we'll go just the Qtr if the other events scare you. but keep in mind, if you change your mind, i'll still accept a match at Shawano or GSS. my tires cost the same as yours pal!

Because my truck will be done by the time VPT gets the lincoln out. That is why. And the funny part is that you know about the truck needing the rev limiter changed as I said before and you want to race right away now. P U S S Y ! ! ! Sounds like a little girl to me, I will race you now because your truck hits the rev limiter because your tuner guy fell on his ass and broke his laptop.
You know what. Piss on it. I want to have nothing to do with this three way match. I do not want to make a little girl cry if so called person gets beat by a big tank of a truck.
As for VPT, I would like to run one with you. 1/4 mile only which is what this whole thing started out as. Just let me know if you want to. Also, do not give me this crap that you want to go now. When the laptop is back, you will be notified.

I am not getting bigger injectors for awhile. It is tuned fine for the injectors that are in it now. I am just loosing 1400 rpms and probably 1psi of boost through that 1400 rpms. It sucks though, truck pulls harder and harder than bam rev limiter. Should feel alot better when that gets fixed though.
Blacky is a LONG way from coming out. :twisted:

I did not have my foot to the floor the whole time, have to lift to shift. I have showed a couple of people what it does but that is it.
Who whines and makes excuses if they loose a race? Sure the hell not me. Who's shit is broke? Not mine. Just needs the rev limiter changed.
I am really sorry that you are scairt to run my truck against your car. If I were you, I would be just plain scairt to run VPT too. 120k miles on a 2002 is getting up pretty high in the miles. Don't know how long a lexus will run for but I checked on ebay and in 2 pages only found one with more miles than yours. Better take it easy on that thing.

I must have missed the funny part... What did you expect? Toyota is the parent company for Lexus. Just like Ford is the parent company for Lincoln. Run that VIN listed there, it shows 2002 Lexus IS300 Sport Cross.

no, my wheels are 17", not 18's. how did i know you didn't have stock tires on your car?? mine comes stock with 17's, your's comes stock with either 17's or 16's (look at the tag above...). and either way you look at it, it all depends on what tires you get. you can find 16's, 17's & 18's for the same price. just depends on what you buy.

I would fricken hate to have a shitty daily driver and a race car that is more fun to bench race than drive because its too expensive, too unreliable, or work in progress for multiple years.

Everyone knows lincoln is built by ford, I thought you cought onto obvious stuff like this. But I didn't know that toyota rebadged camrys and sold them as lexus's. Its not super great but at least the ls is a jaguar rebadged by ford and sold as a lincoln ls.
I didn't ever say I couldn't afford tires or any parts for the lincoln or any car I have. I just don't see why its a good idea to wreck them in one weekend just for a little fun.

VPT will run a S&G 1/4 mile and risk getting a racing ticket but he wont run the car in an exciting yet very safe environment because it might take a little life off the tires.
I see no harm in working an event thus getting in for free. Then running your car for a few laps just to see how it performs. You dont have to run the car until the belts are showing.

There has been quite a few mornings that I have woken up to see a big old blak stripe in front of the house.
I would rather burn tires at an autocross or Shawano event than do multiple midnight burnouts in front of peoples houses. But thats just me.
