I was to cheap to buy one so i came up with this

not bad, is there any ducts for cold air to get to the filter?

technicaly thats considered a warm air intake.. a cold air intake places the filter down below the engine bay where their is colder air being put into it.

yeah some sort of heat shield to keep out the hot engine bay temps would be good to have.

guy there is WAYYYY to much plastic covering up that beautiful engine-
There are so many sensors and wires attached to modern engines that the cover usually looks best. Good looking engines from the factory is kind of a lost art.

My subie motor is so ugly, they put the intercooler over it!!
The Italians still make some nice looking motors......$$$$$$
