anytime you want a rematch, lets do it. you saw it yourself...the car cuts out when the temperatures drop and wont boost past 7 psi without doing damage to the engine. anything past 3000 rpms makes it shit when its that cold. i did drop it at 6 grand knowing that would happen...i just chanced it. i suggest you get your facts straight before shooting off like that

um, get your car running right, it should boost perfect fine in cold weather, but just lower it a bit because 14psi in summer is a tad more in winter(learned that last winter).

i would have to cut a piece of spring out of the controller... or my only other option is to hook up straight to the wastegate actuator. It really doesnt matter to me...i just wont pound on it when its cold and wont have a problem. thanks though

i also have self control, i don't need to try to prove myself at every intersection... DontStopMe will verify this... just one stoplight before i saw you, i was lined up next to DontStopMe, but thought i saw a cop a block up, so i didn't take off. good thing i didn't, becuase it WAS a cop.

on a side note, if its not your timing (CAS) it could a few different things, one thing that most turbo guys have had happen is that during cold weather it will run rough under WOT due to more air (condensed due to cold temps)going into the motor and the computer cannot compensate for it. i don't know your setup, but if you changed over to a GM MAF or similar, that could be out of tune as well to compensate. does it run any better now that the temps are up in the 30's today?? how about 2weeks ago when it was in the 40's?? viable things to consider. but what do i know... i'm just an ass! :roll:

i had that trouble with my AWD too, it ran a little different in the cold weather. luckily, all i had to do was lower the boost controller about 2 psi and it was fine... it just seemed to hit fuelcut easier when it was cold due to the excess air. you didn't even notice the loss of 2psi becuase of the air temps... ran awesome then!! try tuning the maf translator differently.

use locktite on those bolts.

The shit won't ever stop. Especially now that the car has been tampered with: as in the engine was rebuilt and heavily modified.

Advice from TomKat - Get disgusted now and come to the realization that cars are way more fun when they just run. The sooner you do this the less grief you will have to go through.

If you want a fast car buy one that is fast from the factory. Heavily modified cars although fast are the source of a lot of grief for the owners.
