I can hardly wait for it to melt away. I spent my first day back shovelling the 12" in my driveway.

I still hate snow. I had to shovel again last night. At least Carole grabble shovel and helped.

You should buy yourself a snow-thrower shovel like Dizmm has.

well, if you are willing to pay the price on this type of shovel, I may just sell you mine as i want to upgrade to the 24inch wide model. This one is only 20 inches.

As winter comes to an end, I do not see the point in upgrading to the wider shovel. Unless I see them on sale someplace for a good price.

Always the best time (price-wise) to buy seasonal products. Unfortunately, the selection isn't always the widest, but I have found quite a few good deals...for example: brown leather Banana Republic knee high boots. Regular price $300.00. I got them for $85. Can't beat that!

i was going to say something too VPT... but i didn't
what do your knee-highs have to do with shovels?? and don't give me that seasonal crap!! we're talking shovels & hardware here honey, not some fluffy boots!@!@!

Fluffy boots at a very substantial discount. I'm sure they'll work good and look good in combination with the snow thrower shovel.

First of all, they were an EXAMPLE of a seasonal item that I bought at a discount at the end of the season...much like you could find snow throwing devices at a discount at the end of this season. But you are obviously too dense to get that. Second, they are not FLUFFY boots. I would LOVE to see how a person gets "fluffy" out of "leather". Get a life.
I don't understand why someone needs to spend 85 bux on seasonal footwear. You know walmart has some 10 duallar shoes.

Yeah, $10 shoes that wear out after wearing them once or twice, especially in the snow and rain. QUALITY COSTS MONEY. I just got lucky and spent less than the average Joe (or Jane in this case). So the question comes back...why does a person need to spend THOUSANDS of dollars on seasonal sports equipment?

I have been wearing my walmart shoes for two years now, and I acctualy wear them year round and every day. Why do you worry about how long a boot is going to last that you are going to wear once or twice a winter and let them sit in the closet?
My seasonal sports stuff can be resold, can you resell your 85 dollar boots? Maybe for a buck on a rummage sale.

Enough with the jedi mind tricks Barubabe.... You can't drop a bomb like comparing boots and snowblowers without a little practice first.

Well I do have more than one pair of shoes and although I have bought shoes from Wally World in the past I have found that they weren't very good.
Back in the day I'd wear out a pair of name brand shoes in two weeks. Now that I'm older - way older a pair of shoes may last me 3 months or so. If Wally World shoes are lasting you 2 years I'd have to say you aren't doing much.

Fred Flinstone brakes work best.
Bionic woman stopped her 280Z with her foot. After they aired that episode there were actually people trying that out.
