Where did the info for the dells car show go. I am trying to get a local milwaukee club to go to it. They are showing a lot of interest. I did a quick search and came up short with the info I was looking for. Website maybe, phots from last year would help. Thanks

May 19th Dells Car Show. If you could somehow manage to recover from that 2 hour and 15 minute drive just two days earlier then perhaps you may consider making the 1 and a half hour trip to the Dells. But man a one and a half hour drive after making a two and a half hour drive just two days earlier. Whew that's going to be tough. :?

Cool i wanna go to the car show. my birthday is the 18th of may so that would be a fun way to spend my 22nd b-day. I missed it last year i was playing army in TN. Hopefully i will have the Tsi Awd running really good by then. Hey tom how can i join the fox vally car club and get a membership i wanna do some autocrossing this year unlike last year when anything bad that could happen to my car did. The last autocross i tried to make my turbo blow just as i got off of highway 10 lol.

Hey tom that trip could really be rough though i remember when i drove to TN and back on weekend of every month. It was a 11-12 hour trip non-stop each way. I mean there is that little differance between 1.5 hours and 12 hours but whos counting. lol. hey there now i'm up to 11 post and now i'm going to stop posting on this topic because this makes my 3rd post in a row. lol. sorry.

as for the dells car show, i know i won't make it. i'll plan and plan and plan, but in the past 8 years, i've only made it every other year, yet i've planned to go EVERY year. it just happens that way for me i guess. and since i made it last year, it's impossible for me to go again this year. i don't know why yet (i will assume it's not a 2hour drive 2 days before) but possibly my trip to Atlanta?? that's the only thing i can think of in that time frame. so this is not an excuse TK, but rather an explanation. it's an act of god that i miss every other year, it cannot be explained!

ill be there, a couple of us will be camping for the cruise in the park. $15 for the first night and every night after that $8... The drive there is going to be horrible... i cant stand being in my truck for more then 22.65743 seconds i dont know how im going to last 90 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, give me a break, i haven't driven my talon since thanksgiving, and i've barely driven anything at all since then too. Once i actually drive again i won't mind it, i just don't remember what its like to drive my own vehicle. BTW, i'll come down for the cruise day, girlfriend is cool with it too, so my small idea worked.

what's it matter if you can't remember what it's like to drive a car?? i hadn't driven an Omni for over 2 years, then i put on 1400+ miles for 22+hours in one weekend. and an omni with no AC, Radio, Cruise, or exhaust isn't the most fun car to drive 22hrs in 101* temps.

as for the car show??? you have NO IDEA how out of hand this place can get. it is ALWAYS a good time, and everyyear something amazing happens. this is not your "same old show, year after year". well, maybe the show is... but saturday night is NEVER the same!! just don't bring a woman if she's going to slow you down!!! or you won't have fun. be prepared to go out to dinner, spend some money on dinner. hang out on the main drag, and then stay up LATE yelling at cops and maybe even joining in on the riot!! the ONLY thing i'd change from last year was the saggy 40yr old tits. not cool.

i would i would i would!!! Pink Flamingo HERE WE COME!!! actually, the Monaco & Shamrock are the hot ticket, usually right in the middle of all the action, and there are balconies too!! but the flamingo was nice, and with the massive amount of action last year, even the flamingo got front row seats, which usually doesn't happen.

so who is all going FOR SURE to this event. i'm not 100% sure yet myself

Dizzzz when are you making hotel reservations? I tried to call there about 6 times today. no answers and busy. I looked on-line and they dont open until April 7th. They also had a shit ton of bad reviews about honesty. Can you make reservations before April 7th?

The Shamrock doesnt open until May 1st. Do they take reservations early? Has anyone made reservations?

i set up a topic at honda-tech.com in the events forum for automotion already, so far ive got 34 people heading down there that morning, there are meets set up in rapids, madison and milwaukee as schedule plans are this is how it was set-up*REMINDER not every one that is so far attending is not on the list, as it only states 19 members

Honda-Tech Car Cruise and Meet and also Car Show on the 20th of May , H-T meet will be located at Mnt. Olympus (where the big wooden trojan horse stands) in the Wisconsin dells!!
there is over 900 different cars attending the Car Cruise on the 20th and it will be a fun place to hold a meet, it is an event held every year in the Dells and a perfect place to be noticed, tons of spectators will line the streets to witness the event. The meet will be started at noon(early arrival would also be nice to claim the area for the meet) and the cruise begins at 4p.m. along the strip. there will also be travel meets to head down there in squads in other towns so others wont get lost or have problems making it to the dells

additional plans are also to stay the night in the area for some people who want to rent hotel rooms to enjoy the extra fun of the festivities that will be taking place that night.

The cruise isn't organized at all. Unlike the Rapids cruise in August. It's just that around 4pm all the people/cars in the show are leaving and going back to their hotels.

I made reservations at the Shamrock at the end of February.

I have numbers for the Shamrock & Monacco that Allen got in a 2007 Dells Car Show pamphlet. I got answers when I called both places.
