he's lying. it was used from a car with a blown motor due to the balance shaft being gone & caused premature wear on the lower bearings and the entire motor was a wreck!!!

just kidding, it's new. i've seen it.

Personally I'd get the DSM elimination kit like TC did recently. 8)

We'll see if she chimes in with any comments on how well she likes her kit.

What kit......oh you mean the "borrow your ex-step-dad's shitty Ford Tempo until you find a car" kit?

Yeah........this kit really rules. :?

I can think of two reasons why you should not be in this situation in the first place.

Ex-step-Dad's Tempo with the AWD button on the ceiling. Don't leave out the part about the AWD button.

DSM's don't have an AWD button. Not even in the same league as a Tempo.

Maybe if your dumb fuck of a boyfreind would have let you buy the nice silver talon in my back yard, you would not have a problem.

Wait a minute, if brains over there would think to himself that I should do something about all the oil all over my girlfreinds timing belt, you would not be in this problem either. Someone should learn how to work on cars.

It would have been a good Idea for you to fix that leak the first time it broke when you had the head and belt off.

some jdm 4g63 vehicles had a switchable tranny with a lever for 2 or 4 wheel drive, but its not on the level of convenience as a button. I suprised that tempo doesn't need you to lock the hubs when you do that. Ford only ditched that like 2 years ago.

I remember seeing that, a guy at RSD had that type of tranny, it was cool, but the car was slow as shit. Speaking of, extreme, you replaced the timing belt on my car before i bought it? correct?

I was not told to fix the leak. If anyone wanted the leak fixed, they should have spoke up.

I can't remember yesterday. Do you know how long ago my wife owned that car. Too long for me to remember.

I would do it every 30k. I do not trust the recommended 60k.

same here... but about every 45k. which means time to sell the car before i hit that number!! j/k, i *might* be at 20k on it... but probably closer to 10k

If your gonna do the timing belt, may as well take the extra 15 minutes to take the head off and replace the head gasket and put some arp head bolts in there too.

Then go the extra 9 yards and put a 632ci in it.

But i don't put my car threw nearly as much abuse. Sure i drive it more(lapping days), but your running about 75% more boost i want to believe. Maybe if i get time this summer, but i'm having doubts i will be able to finish the car over spring break.

does not take much time to do a head gasket and all new timing. 3 hours maybe tops.

My b20 in my silver crx still has the original timing belt that the motor came with over seas about 6 years ago.

Do belts get bad sitting in one place for a long periord of time. If they do, yours is shot again.

i always wonder that myself... i rarely see the car leave the garage, but i see it getting washed quite a bit... is it all a front?? or does the type r actually get driven?? something to ponder i guess.

Cash and the Type R actually come out on the weekends when stuff is going on. They don't hide at home like you. I put almost as many miles on the Type R in '06 as I put on Zoey.
