View Full Version : Testing the single turbo setup

Well I've got a Mitsuibishi 3000GT VR4. I got rid of the tiny stock turbos and mounted a single massive turbo. I just got the car running a few weeks ago, so its' still on wastegate boost (~6psi) and not making much power. Once the fuel system is installed I'll be cranking up the boost on E85.

Targa-Top actually wasn't a factory option, though I think it should have been. I took a saw to the roof after I welded in the cage. I'm still in the process of making the fiberglass replacement for the top, it should be done soon though.

Its' pretty slow, you'd probably fall asleep :cool:


I've gotten half of my fuel system parts delivered, still waiting on more.. I'm thinking I'll be able to turn up the boost early next month and see how it holds together. Its' going to be sort of laggy, but maybe that'll keep me out of trouble on the streets.

Hey! Yeah its been a long time. Not much is new here, still working on cars. I remember when we were flying down some road in your DSM and that dude ran out shaking a rake or something at us....haha
