So Monday i finally got her all buttoned up. Just a stock rebuild after teh previous owner failed at life,
Clevite Rod and Main bearings
Crank machined .020"" On Rods and .010" on mains
New gaskets all around, honed the cylinders, all the good stuff. Thing was a PITA to remove and install!! with out a lift and bieng stubborn(mostly stuborn) i pulled the engine and tranny together from the top.
so monday afternoon i got her all started up, started right away, runs good and smooth, good throtle response eveything working out good. Broke her in, changed the oil, and bled the PITA cooling system. So far i'd have to say this is the by far most fun car i've driven, i mean just the massive torque that i'm in no way used to at only 1k rpm!!
And the sense of accomplishment that goes with all the time and sweat and blood and cussin. Good stuff. Just getting her all broken in completely, then she'll be ready for some fun on the autocross course.
mods that came with the car are just K&N CAI, hurst shifter, blacked out taillights, and big ass 275 tires off some old corvette. despite my previous wonderings, the car does not have a cat back exhaust it looks like, o well, true duals are the next mod along with a good clay bar and buff job. gonna clean and shampoo the hell out of the car yet. and some tint from this guy i know sometime this summer?? also trading the ugly retro vette rims and rediculous wide tires for some stock ws6 chomies.

stock 6speed transmission(finally got me a 6speed)
