I dunno.. I own both a 1st gen neon and the SRT and I can tell you there is no comparison between them as far as quality and durability what so ever. The thought of a turbo 1st gen scares the hell out of me. Actually that is most of why people don't like SRT's. The think about 10 years of neon's. Trust me this is the same thing that went on in my mind when I went to test drive the SRT. Needless to say though it's nothing like a traditional neon.

The motor is overpowering the jet system. You can hear the guy feathering the throttle because of over-rev. When he does hold it open you can also hear the rev limiter control the motor the whole time.

What I am saying is that motor would be better matched with a jet system off of a boat. That thing would be a completely insane ride with the motor it has and a boat jet unit.
