Bootmgr missing??

I have a 6 month old Sony Vaio, my kids got ahold of it and loaded a bunch of games and junk online, I didnt feel like going through and uninstalling everything so I tried to do a restore. I started it in the recovery sector, choose to do a complete restore. Hit start and at about 5% it stopped and had a code 320 then 330 error. Shut the computer down and now when I turn it back on its froze on a black screen with this message... BOOTMGR missing. any ideas??

I shut it down and it says Operating system not installed. I figured It should have a warranty yet, so I called Sony, they ran me through all the stuff I already did, he said the code 320 is bad ram, they are going to send me the parts or send a tech out, I have to call back when the repair techs are in and they will go over my options
