no old threads are gone. I must have accidently deleted nicks account, not sure how as i sorted everything by post count, but nonetheless his account is gone. So any threads he posted in may have a shorter amount of total post and there may be a page or 2 that dont exist anymore because of his missing posts.

that’s because that thread thinks there are more posts there than there really are. Its because Nick's account being deleted which took all of his posts along with it. That error message will begin to go away as the threads gain back a few more posts to make up for the lost posts from Nick.

Sometimes when the site errors out it actually goes to a Debug screen. I did some research on that information, coupled with the fact that the "cwscc.com" domain itself never goes down... this definitely has nothing to do with the hosting site. This is an issue with the forum code itself.

I have a similar issue with my site and had to review some code in a couple index/PHP's files until I found some entries that needed cleaning.

This, of course, goes along with what I said the problem was months ago. :)

Well at this point it’s not a matter of an upgrade, its more a lack of service. I have been dealing with bluehost for the past month or 2. They are (so far) working with me. I am giving them a little bit longer and then I will be switching hosting companies. It will be a big PITA but to keep you guys happy, I don’t have much choice.

Also like VPT said, for something good you must pay. So if i do have to switch hosting companies, we will be making the switch to vB.

For the second time now, I captured traffic information for the site and debug logs. As on par with what I've been saying this entire time it has nuttin to do with the hosting site.

Each time the site goes down there is a massive flood of traffic from IP:87.118.90.76 A quick nslookup shows this to be keymachine.de A google shows this to be a breeding ground for spam and bot services that attack forums around the net.

Sure enough, that site is linked to massive flooding of cwscc.com/forum domain. Since there hasn't been any issues with the TLD:cwscc.com I don't have any captures of that to explain how the TLD stays up.

Either way, 87.118.90.76 found a back door into the account and is causing this every time it floods the address.

It must have SOMETHING to do with Bluehost though, as it causes issues across Andrews domains. I haven't had time to capture any more, plus it doesn't seem like my expertise is much listened to anyways so phooey. Most likely is just a hole in security but NOT on the Bluehost side of the fence since, again, the TLD always stays up.

EDIT: This also may explain the CPU Quota errors that we see sometimes due to the sheer volume of flooding(it's a LOT)... but I don't know that 100%. Just seems like a logical conclusion

It has everything to do with the hosting site. I have been going over with bluehost, server loads are at a maximum.

Nonetheless, I am in the process of switching to vB for several reasons. One being security with phpBB just flat out sucks, even with the latest versions of phpBB.

I just edited my last response so you probably missed it. But the CPU loads most likely cap during the flooding which them pushes the system over the quota mark. Again, can't say for sure, just basing that on deductive reasoning.

Ya I usually use my phone, but sometimes when I use the computers at the library it happens there to. So porn viruses are definitely out of the question. It doesn't really matter if it gets fixed or not. Just thought id bring it up. By the way I got the tomkat driving thing like 4 more times.
