I see 10-15 computers a day and I see first hand how reliable these things really are. The motherboard is the most complex component in the computer, don’t go cheap on that.

I understand the mother is the most complex part of a computer. What motherboard would your recommend to me for a quad core processor?

Well, I've seen very good stuff with the Intel manufactured motherboards, however you’re going the AMD route. Check into the MSI or Asus Motherboards. They've been decent. I long time ago I did some hard core research into motherboards, and it turns out the cheaper "off-brand" motherboards use lower heat rated caps and they tend to this:

I trust the new egg ratings since they are usually pretty reliable as long as more than 2 people have rated the item. I would try to buy all 5 star rated products. I just bought a Wester Digital 1TB Caviar black HD but haven't installed it yet. Need to finish up some projects from my old HD before I can replace it. Also, AMD FTW!

If you want, I can clone your old HDD to the new one if you're looking to just use the 1TB drive as a replacement.

Toni, Yes, we can order near anything, however I cant promise you that I'll be able to beat some of those deals you'll be finding on the internet. What you can get through NS is support, that’s what our business is about.
