You are correct on why I don't have many posts. All 3 of my cars currently not very good. The charger been down since Aug. The sundance is dieing this week. The arrow doesn't have engine it sitting on the garage floor.

Well the Eclipse is put away for the winter and I'm driving the Explorer. It's actually a nice winter beater. Sure different from driving the Eclipse. Hoping to get a few things done to the car over winter so that I can kick some ass in the spring!

Those Evo 10's look to be pretty big and beefy, well the concept anyhow. It had 20's stock with 35 series tires and they didn't look huge, so it's gotta be bigger than the other Evo's. Any idea what the stock weight is on one?

There aren't any comfirmed stats on the EVO 10. The only thing I'm going is the name. Each and every EVOLUTION has been better than the last. This will be a major overhaul so potential power (and problems) may go through the roof.

That being said I dont like car payments and if the 10 is going to be 40k then I'll have to pass on it. Dealerships always rape you on price of the newest of everything. The C6 ZO6 is still selling at 8k above sticker. I'm sure Mitsu would pall the same shit chevy is.

On the flip flop I hate the idea of sinking a thousand in to a clutch, three thousand into a turbo kit, and an additional grand into suspension just to get the car where I really want it to be even though it would be cheaper than selling Darth and buying a ten.

Because i hated sanding and fiberglass and bondo fixing all the rust from 1 winter, it was gay. I know i'll buy something new, probably a 2g awd, but since i'm keeping this car for a while, might as well save it from rust, you said it yourself your going to sell the evo before the rust gets bad(-3 years)

I really dont understand the parking your car through winter thing unless its IWD car like the corvette. Even that shouldn't be tucked away on nice days like today. This the best time of year for AWD TURBO cars.

I'm storing my Eclipse because I can't drive it in the winter. The car is lowered and I would end up plowing snow - we'll actually I wouldn't get very far with that - just stuck. I'm also trying to prevent rust.

and there may have been some others..they were all 2000 and newer...make every other car u drive feel like a piece of shit.

my old POS omni WAS a good winter car! there is one sitting in a parking lot a few blocks from my house that has only moved about once a year since i moved into my house... i wanna buy it!! it was the best car in the snow that i've ever had!! (sans AWD cars...)
