PS. PSCA Public Service Car Announcement: Get out and cruise! Throw on some of your favorite tunes and go for a nice drive. Beautiful scenery out there.
I've seen a few of them also on hwy 51 heading south.

I seen one of those today going down hwy 10 east getting on 39 south. He had a bitch of a time and the construction workers had to move a bunch of cones and barrels. That thing was huge!!!

I used to see them everytime I went to Wausau. From what I heard, they are apparently a silo-type thing used by very large farms. They are made up north and then transported to the place where they will be used, which is why we always see them on I39/51.
Here is my next guess.

I know they are building a bunch of these in WI as we speak.

   better watch out before one of those come crushing on you...like what happend with my leg. I'm glad I got out of that place. Its probably the most unsafest place I have ever worked at. That Silo I just posted probably took about 1 1/2 months to complete If it has the mixer and shaker in it. Btw, I think you ment HWY 39. Yeah its not all for farms but they can be any kind of storage unit. Even built Alum tanks for Ethanol. Imperial Industries Inc. is where comes from.

Good job... those are for windmills that are going up to the East. I believe they are near the WI/MN border.

Silo has nothing to do with these. And yes they are building these in WI which is near where my brother lives (Mayville) and can see it from the interstate HWY 41 on the west side just abit south of Fond Du Lac. And where I work now, We are making Transformers for these Windmills. Which are call Windfarm's transformers
Anybody else feel a bit nervous when passing one of those?
Please don't fall on me... please don't fall on me...

I have seen them on hwy I 39 when I was going up to Wausau to teach last summer. Saw one coming south almost every time I drove up there! They could be for windmills, I don't really remember what the person in the know told me, but that would be a logical guess too.
