Unless I was building a rally car I don't think I would do an AWD conversion on anything. I really like what people are doing with turbo 400 rear ends and 2JZ motors.

BWAHHHHH(clutch drop)..BBWAHHHH(5 feet)..SHIFT BWAHHHHH(15 feet), shut if off after knowing that clutch is gone.

I would love to see VPT build something like an AWD CRX. VPT is the picture a project of yours or is it just a guessing game?

Will we see it running or will we ever see it on the street period. Gas is very expensive you know. And coming uptown- that's a lot of work.

VPT is the AWD a project of yours or not?
Last I heard your FWD car was soo fast it wasn't safe to drive on the street. At least with AWD you'd be able to safely make it from point a to point b.

You'll just have to wait and see. :P

I think the LSD played some roll in the car not going strait under hard acceleration. I'm looking into it though, I think spraying it just may straiten it out.

VPT you have an overpowered incorrect wheel drive car with unequal length axle shafts. It's going to have torque steer.

it has equal length axle shafts.

OK equal length, but there is still a limit to how much power an incorrect wheel drive car can put down without torque steer. From what I've read it's around 300hp.
Pointdsm

How much torque steer do full drag FWD cars have, they seem to go straighter than AWD cars.

they've also got about $10g's in custom suspension work done to them and 15" wide slicks

^^^^^ That'll do the trick.

no no no, torque steer is all about the suspension settup, it will go strait next year. Like I said I'll just have to spray more and more at it till it goes strait.
Pointdsm

Well..then get to work on the suspension...

more power IS usually the answer according to VPT.
