Our next item up for sale is this wonderful CAMERA. (applause)

With this sale you will get the Canon 10D body, (1) 512MB and (1) 256MB memory card(s), 3 batteries(one being an expensive Canon high cap. Li-Ion battery), AND the battery grip.

If you're considering getting a camera like this for the first time I'll explain that the battery grip is super awesome neato and you're defintely going to be happy that you have it. I hope that explains it well enough.

I bought the camrea from a little old lady that only took it out to take pictures of the neighborhood kids walking on her grass on Sundays... Former owner bought it new and used it for 3 months before realizing he sucks. I have taken great care of the camera. NEVER dropped, no scratchs. Very durable, in case YOU drop it though. Magnesium skeleton for durability and weigh reduction. Etc Etc...

So, you can stop by my house tonight, plop $450 obo* on my table, and drive it home.

*I'm assuming your best offer is $450 because I'm not actually going to budge on the price.

I don't have any pictures of the camera but here are some shots off the internet:

Here's an image with the battery grip installed.

I have no idea what's going on in this picture, but here's the back(minus the rubber eye piece that should be by view-finder like mine):

Here's what the camera would look like if you tossed on some accessories and you looked like a douchebag:

I should add...

If you're looking at this thread and scratching your head wondering how you could use such a camera(read, HOW to use such a camera). I offer to give you lessons on how to use the camera and how to get really super awesome neato pictures with it.

If you still aren't completely 100% convinced that this isn't the camera for you... why are you even reading this far?

well, a lot of people don't understand that these bodies don't come with lens'. they think its similar to their Point & Shoot camera... all in one.

the majority thinks that for $450 they are getting one hell of a deal on a good camera... only to find out that they need to spend a minimum of another $150-$200+ for a decent entry level lens.

just wanted to clarify this for any potential buyers. and sorry if that puts a cramp in your plans to unload this camera body.

It is a hell of a deal. Anyone that is interested in this will know how to read as well as you do.

To those weeding through the trolling of this thread... You can go as cheap as $60-$70 for a nice Canon f/1.8 50mm. Even with $1000's in lenses at my fingertips I find myself reaching for that particular lens very often.

Either way, once you have an SLR camera and get into the groove of things, you will want to purchase a lens that fits your needs and is most applicable for the pictures that you enjoy taking. Chances are, if you purchase this type of camera with a lens already included it's not going to be what suits you best and you wasted some money on a lens you won't want.

I probably have more lenses than I need so, if you know what's what, let me know if you're interested in any of these and I may have a deal for ya.

Canon 50mm f/1.8
Canon 80mm f/1.4
Canon 28-128mm f/3.5-5.6 IS
Canon 10-22mm f/2.8
Sigma 50mm Macro EX-Series
Canon 200mm f/2.8 L-Series
Canon 100-400mm f/4.0-5.6 L-Series

If you don't know what any of that means and you are still interested, let me know and I'll help you through it.

Again, this is a "serious" camera for those that want to get amazing pictures and don't mind doing a little more than just pointing a camera at something and pushing a button. I'll help you out with it where I can.

It's a lot of fun and I hope someone local can enjoy this unit.
