Grr, that may event will be tough for me with finals the week after that. I want to make it to that event also to get an event in before ACC, hmm, have to see about that.

myself... i'll be sticking to the smaller events. i would DEFINETELY like to get in a few autoxs this summer, and at least 2 shawano days. depending on the the car is running, i might even do a bigger event... if the car is up to it that is...

TK: any word on golden sands autox's yet?

Devlish, we never know about the GSS event until september, you know that.

I am going to wait until next semester starts and I see my classes before I make any more moves. I might be able to leave that weekend before finals if my finals will not be difficult, but if they will be equal to this semester or worse, i'll have to cancel shawano and only do the auto-x the 27th.

In the middle of the season though, you need to schedule around the stock car racing. I remember TK talking to me or somebody about promoting it on a friday night to get the word out.

Well, out of the 3 DSM's i got, all of them will run, but only 2 will be drivin in winter.

Mine will run, but is off insurance and getting worked on over winter. The insurance part was first, so i took advantage of it and tore into the car. It will start and run though.

They WILL run, They are not running right now because that would be a waste of gas to leave them running all day.

Could you go out and start and drive them all right now?

2 of them you could start up and drive away no problem, the other you could start but without adding some oil, it wont run for long. Also would need the oil return line bolted back on so the oil would stay inside the engine. other than that, it would run.

mine, YES. right now i could start it up, and drive it home if need be. no problems whatsoever. oil was changed before storing, it was washed, and the battery is plugged into a battery maintainer / trickle charger over winter so it's ready to go!!

i win.

For all you guys that are broke...... the Naval Reserve is offering a $20,000 signing bonus right now. That in addition to that the monthly income can pretty much pay for a new car and the insurance. There's also the benefit of world wide travel. Last year I went to Thailand. This year I've been to Hawaii for a week and come Feb I plan on going back to Hawaii for another 19 days.

The likelyhood of getting activated is slim to none unless you want to volunteer. Even then you get to select where you want to go. I was asked this weekend if I wanted to do a one year harbor patrol tour in Oman. I'm giving it some thought because after hazardous duty pay, overseas pay, cost of living allowance, and basic pay it comes out to about $90,000/yr TAX FREE. That would pay off my house and buy me an EVO10.

Just thought I would mention it since most of you don't seem to not have jack shit to do on the weekends anyway.

Both of mine are functional.

Winky is running like an old top. And the red car is parked at my dad's for the winter but there is nothing wrong with it. It is all washed up and waiting for spring. I could drive both of them right now if I wanted to.

Just picked up my rims, Nice little drive to IL in the snow and rain. They look really good and I will get some pics up soon. I am hanging them on my wall as of right now in the nice little apartment because space in limited. Who said storage and decorating cant go hand in hand. Anyway cant wait to get some rubber on those.
