bump, still $40.
you do realize that you can do this with less than half what you are offering if you were to buy all new material. i'm doing this to my 240 for damn near free

You do realize you can't do it right that cheaply?
To perform a battery relocation, you MUST have a box, at very least 4g. wire, and a capable circuit breaker that can handle the amps. Add in all the connectors and your are definatly over $40.
I did this on my talon, the cheapest box I could find was $15. Wire was around $20. Circuit Breaker, another $20. Connectors for wires, easily $30.

come on, i'm getting my bachelors in mechanical engineering from one of the best engineering schools in the nation.. and have began rewiring everything in my 240, and by everything, i mean everything. a battery relocation is elementary. any dumbass can do this. if you are involved with this type of shit you would have connections for the wire etc for cheap or free... and as far as the box is concerned, welding stainless isn't tough, nor is sheet metal work. I'm building mine soon, and having my buddy put it on his 5 axis cnc to cut in some baller designs. and guess what.. the 5 axis work will be... you guessed it.. free
i guess if you're incapable of doing this, or learning how, i would buy a kit.

I don't care where anyone goes to school or what they can do on there own, I am simply trying to sell a damn part that I took out of a car. please keep this tread on topic. This isn't tech talk.
that explains why you told me the proper way to do a battery relocation 6 posts up

Especially since you don't know the kind of guy DontStopMe is...your cocky as hell. Nobody cares what school you go to! Everything I hear, Michigan Tech is an amazing school too, so is Platteville. All the school is a damn name, its what you learn and actually DO, that makes you good. So your just starting school and your re-wiring your whole car, congrats! Honestly, you sound like one of the usual college kids who start school and think they know everything.
Paul, i'll let you know tomorrow, I might have a friend interested, i'll give him a call.
Did the filter housing work for you?

Did the filter housing work for you?
yup, works great! thanks.
the school is great, but during high school i was helping manage a hotel at 40 hours a week with a full schedule, not only that but the day after graduation, i moved by myself to tulsa to work as an engineer at one of the best labs in the world.. while there i was offered jobs at boeing, airbus, and toyota. but those are just minor details.
and i never said i know everything. watch your mouth before it needs to be wired shut.

sweet. Everyone will get what they need then.
Yeah this has worked out really good, almost tooooo good.
Would $20 for the cable work for you? I know that 1 gauge stuff isn't cheap. If you're going to the lapping day on the 19th, we could do the deal then.
