No, they are not worth it. If your looking for plugs for your dsm use the factory recommended ngk plugs. BRP7ES I believe are the ones you want. Nothing will work better than these. They are $2 a piece and in stock at Napa. Spark plugs aren't going to give you horsepower. Also, never use platinum plugs in a turbo engine.

If anyone ever tells you they can feel the difference from these plugs, its because they went from old shitty plugs to new ones. It is almost always best to go with the factory recommended plug, a change in heat range may be acceptable in certain applications.

stock replacement NGK dsm plugs are BPR6ES's... the 7's are 1 notch colder.

True, but doing simple mods to a DSM makes it better to run the 7's anyways.

yes, once you up the boost, colder plugs are good.

yes, I agree with everyone about the ngks in dsms. that's what I run. I was just curious if anyone has heard anything good/bad about these...they're suppose to be a completely different plug design.

It's not like a spark plug is that innovative. It just sparks.

If it was that fantastic you'd be seeing it on every new car made. What's an extra $100-$200 on a new car?

Pure freakin' hogwash.
